< didn't know the clocks went forward tonight and it's now daylight savings time. < didn't realise it was this soon because of all the cold weather.
< was just thinking it was nearly 3am then looked at <'s phone which claimed it was nearly 4am. < thought how can it be that time already then < realised the clock on the wall was an hour behind the phone.
<'s mother found one of <'s lab reports from two years ago. < decided to read through it for a laugh and gave up about half-way. It is, after all, about charging and discharging a capacitor, essentially the electronics equivalent of watching paint dry!
< kind of only learned about the functions of some electronic components in the last year. < knows what electrolytic capacitors do as ^ mentioned and < knows what resistors are for. But that's all real basic stuff. < also had to use potentiometers a lot (especially in electric guitars and guitar amps). < also had to use a transistor when < made that VGA to Scart cable.
< wants to start working on stuff such as projects and learn more about what other components do, but at least < knows the paint drying phase
< won that Jaguar for 30 pound sterling. That's with no controllers and listed as spares because they can't test it. If it works or if it has a problem and < is able to repair it, < will have gotten an unbelievable deal. < still needs a Controller but that's not too important for now.
< has felt the effects of a thorough vibration from a bad swing connection a few times. < thinks that happens from hitting the ball with the shafts end of the club (instead of the central clean connection). < has also had the problem with scabs or blisters from the driving range from the friction of the club.
< has read that a solution is to buy another glove for that hand. < is for sure considering that, especially after < also read that wearing two gloves can help with the grip of the club.
< thinks that's the best idea as < has had really bad skin on <'s hand before from playing golf. Mainly due to the friction of the club twisting in <'s hand. If < visits the driving range again < will be sure to use gloves
< learnt that two guys broke into a house near <'s (IN BROAD DAYLIGHT YESTERDAY) and stole some Flat Screen TV.
< thinks that might've been a close call.
< says that these bars need to be cleaned in a hurry so they can be attached again.
<'s father is liking to sleep with the windows wide open when there is nothing securing them and that forces <'s mother to sleep in the same bedroom with < with the windows shut and door closed.
< has returned from buying a few things from a supermarket.
< wished that < did that earlier in the day, ah well...
At least < didn't walk in the hot sun...but wait a minute...It was a little cloudy today so maybe it would not be all bad nonetheless.
