You mean later today?

Ah feck it I'm going to have something fizzy to ignore the pain. At least I'll have pain in my stomach instead of my legs (bloatiness). As weird as it sounds!

Reminds me of the time I had my first drink ever (Prosecco) to celebrate good news from results of probing wafers that had been made at my behest. :fou:

I think the most glasses of beer I have probably drank at once is 2 cups. That's pretty much it. I don't seem to suffer much effects, cuz I remember everything that happpened even when drinking beer. The only thing i have to do is take a nap and I'm better! :)

I don't think a nap will help my splitting headache right now however. :(

I don't feel that well

I had 6 beers last night (500ml, not those little 330ml ones). I used to drink 6 a night but since I haven't drank in so long now I really don't feel that great :oops2:

Hehe, you did mention to me last night that you were a little tipsy, so I'm not too surprised to hear that
But you did deserve to celebrate due to all the hard work you've been doing for the hacks the past few days! My congrats again! :)

I think I want to get a smoothie again today. Even though I've talked about them a lot, the truth is I haven't gotten one in MONTHS now. :?

Yeah I was a little drunk since I haven't consumed alcoholic beverages in a very long time

Ah well, it's not like I drink all the time now :P

I think I’ve started getting used to vanilla and chocolate protein shakes as a meal replacement. I don’t think I could handle more than a few days with just those though...not quite yet. :?

I drank some bottle of diet cola last night. It wasn't great and the zero variants are actually nicer than diet.

I think the diet ones taste very different than Zero whatever the difference is.

I know the diet ones use aspartame, so I wonder what the zero uses instead.

From what I read aspartame affects certain people doesn’t it?

I'm not sure if the evidence for actual effects goes beyond anecdotal, but it is a concern that methanol is known to be one of its metabolites. Methanol is what causes moonshine blindness. The idea is that concentrations of aspartame in products are so low that no appreciable amount of methanol should be produced. Maybe those "certain people" are just those who can't stop drinking diet drinks, and ingest inordinate amounts every day. :P

No, if I'm going to be drinking soda, I don't want to be putting chemicals that have the potential, though unlikely, to harm me. Regular soda will be my choice. Or maybe zero soda if that one doesn't have aspartme.

Normal Coca-Cola leaves me in bits but Coke Zero is fine so I'm not sure why.

Hm, then I'll start drinking zero sodas so I don't pass out from a sugar rush. :)

Apparently Coke Zero uses some aspartame as well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coke_Zero#Ingredients
