Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
Can I guess again?
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
I'm guessing pong. Everyone older seems to always mention that.

Nope, it’s not this.Steo wrote:I'm guessing pong. Everyone older seems to always mention that.
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
I think that the first concept of a video game was created by a curious scientist with an oscilloscope. However I thought as well that it was some kind of Pong, but without an opponent.
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
Nope, it’s another game released way before Pong.LoveMetal wrote:I think that the first concept of a video game was created by a curious scientist with an oscilloscope. However I thought as well that it was some kind of Pong, but without an opponent.

Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
If it's not a videogame you're looking for, I'd guess an electronic version of nim?
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
No and i’m looking for a video game . Though, this game has no image so that’s why i call it a electronic game (i give a huge hint).Ambidextroid wrote:If it's not a videogame you're looking for, I'd guess an electronic version of nim?

Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
Isn't a videogame defined as an electronic game that displays an image? I'm still not clear on what kind of game you're looking for...
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
I assume so, since there is "video" in videogame.Ambidextroid wrote:Isn't a videogame defined as an electronic game that displays an image? I'm still not clear on what kind of game you're looking for...
Maybe it would be the time to switch to another question?
Still, there is a basic electrical circuit that is often given in electrical engineering student classes, which is a reasoning game with 8-10 LEDs and push-buttons placed in circle. Each button is turning on/off a couple of the LEDs, and the goal is to have all the LEDs turned on at the same time.
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz

Question 9 : Before the PlayStation, Sony was working with another compagny on a project that become later PlayStation.
What was this project and who was the compagny that worked with Sony ?
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
Sony worked with Nintendo to make a project for the SNES for it to be able to play CDs.
Re: Video Games Knowledge Quiz
I know they were supposed to both work as a team to create a SNES PlayStation, but there was feuding over rights, shares and greed for games etc. I remember reading about it a couple of years ago.
