Worms 3D/4: Mayhem. Kinda think that 80% of Worms fanbase have duckling syndrome - Worms 3D and 4: Mayhem is well programmed games that is fun to play. Remember Bubsy? This Bubsy 3D is such a crappy gam- Well, it is even not a game. It's annoying, crappy, and has one of the worst game designs and graphics for the PlayStation 1 game-containing product. Remember Sonic? We are not talking about Dreamcast era and later, we are in the dephs of Saturn era. Saturn did not even has an a ACTUAL 3D Sonic game. It has 3D Blast port and... You know what we are taking about, right? The R.

And after all of this, we see trigerred Worms fans that are just hate everything in 3D. These are good ones that you should play.

Absolutely agree. I bought the remaster of Worms Ultimate Mayhem on Steam, and even if the port wasn't very good it was still very enjoyable to play. Of course you have to deal with the early 2000's camera and controls, but still very fun and quite well balanced actually.

Yeah, those games are actually very fun in multiplayer, unfortunately even for the remaster the servers are completely empty.

A shame really as I'd have loved to try it again. I remember my uncle just bought it years ago because he wasn't sure what game to get, then he seen it and remembered the Worms game from PS1 we all used to play, so he bought it. I stayed over there for a few nights and we had fun playing it :P

Mario Kart 8

Despite having DLC additional characters and whatnot, it doesn't place as the best Mario kart game. Some of the items in the game are really sketchy as well. Some of the characters do not make sense for a character to be played as(e.g Pink gold Peach and baby Rosalina.."The Hell!!) Metal Mario and baby Peach were fine on their own but the developers went overboard. Mario kart wii beats this game by a long shot and it is because (just like what a person said on a live stream that I was watching) "it is more competitive than Mario kart 8, this wii U version only depended on characters not competition". The graphics are great but the concepts needed more work.
These are comments that I can remember. This may not the best Mario kart game.
EDIT:This isn't all, though. Mario Kart 8 really isn't that bad. There are still some youtubers who are doing videos of it and it is good to see it have a Wi-Fi tournament that is a lot different from the other games. Instead of all room players playing at once until the end. In Mario kart 8, it works like a "last man standing". It is kinda cool to participate in. It actually looks fun, to be honest. There is some competitiveness in the game but not as much as in Mario kart wii.
I recently played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at my cousin's apartment and now I feel more at ease with people who claim it's the best Mario Kart game. I've seen what things have been coming out on the Waves lately and the characters and courses are more favorable compared to the DLC form the original. Personally I still don't think it's the best Mario Kart game, but it's not the worst Mario Kart game either. You thought the choice of characters in Mario Kart 8 was bad, just look at what costumes Mario Kart Tour thought up!

Now to stay on the subject of underrated games, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, is totally underrated compared to every other Mario Kart game. Honestly, it was a good holdover game until Double Dash came out (one of my favorite games in the series). I liked the idea of bringing back older tracks which then became a thing starting with DS (even if I didn't like that none of the obstacles were retained, but maybe it was the limitations of the GBA?) and the new tracks we did have were alright. I particularly liked Riverside Park and Lakeside Park.

MK8 is literally the most sold Nintendo game of all time besides the original super Mario bros, you shouldn’t be complaining

I think the most amazing game I've played that I've had the most fun playing was Batman: Arkham Knight. Can't say it's terribly underrated but it should've been even more popular in my opinion.

Doom 2D was a very impressive fangame, considering the technology of the 90s. I felt it never got the love it deserved.

Maybe it's a surprising choice, but I've definitely thought about Resident Evil 4. I remember most of the people hating this game... And there are still many people who hate it! It was addictive, fun and extremely fresh at the time.

That's a bit surprising to hear given how it has consistently made it into the lists of best video games of all times.

As someone who has never played or paid much attention to the RE series, I'm gonna have to echo Humch on this, RE4 always came across to me as one of those "acclaimed classics" going off what I had heard.

I suppose during the time it might have been controversial due to the gameplay change? But I certainly think in the present it has a very positive reputation.

I think SpongeBob SquarePants' GBC game also has some advantages, such as its animation effects, tribute to the original work, and beautiful 8-bit music. But there are significant issues with the game's operational feel and gameplay mechanics.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is underrated. I feel like it doesn’t get its love just because it’s a Bubsy game. It’s not as good as traditional platformers, I’ll say that. But it’s a good passer of time, especially since it’s free on PS Plus

I'm surprised too, but a lot of people tended to compare it to RE3 and complained because it didn't feel like a horror game anymore. Still, I think it's a game that over the years has become much more appreciated.

I can't believe I didn't mention Daikatana in this thread yet, but yes. Daikatana is definitely underrated. Most people who have heard of it just know it's a game they are supposed to hate, so they either don't play it, or play it just to confirm their existing bias. But it's better than Quake II. :mryellow:
