Re: Rayman 3
This is very nice work you guys have done here!
Interesting that there was the possibility of traps in the trampolines, I wonder if those are meant to be obstacles you have to punch out or are just there to get in the way?
Also I feel like the character heads do look like the ones normally seen in game. I might need to play the game itself again to be sure. Again, really nice work!

Re: Rayman 3
Shame that these animations aren't used, I think these would look really neat in the game itself. I can imagine where these two would go.

Rayman appears in a level

Rayman respawning in a level (not really sure about this one). Speaking of which, this one kinda reminds me of the respawning animation from Rayman 2!

Re: Rayman 3
I think using that health system would definitely have been helpful when facing Razorbeard. I didn't face him the last time I played, but the first time I seem to recall he could defeat you in one hit. Anywhere else in the game, though, I'm not sure how helpful that would be.

Re: Rayman 3
It would be very helpful
Like, every 10 cages your hp increases
No lives
Instead of dying you respawn with a bit less hp
It would be good, as the game has a LOT of cheap ik moments

Re: Rayman 3
I agree that there are indeed quite a few places that can result in ik, such as the boulder in a certain level, crashing when using the barrels, and Razorbeard ofc. Thankfully the game provides unlimited continues, unlike the original Rayman 1.StelzenBomber wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2020 6:17 pm It would be good, as the game has a LOT of cheap ik moments

Re: Rayman 3
Theres an issue with those lives and continues though
It takes you back to the beginning of the stage a lot
And the stages arent short
Its reverse castlevania
You know, if it really was the rayman 2 system, i would have actualy liked the game
As it is right now?
Its screen crunchy nothing to me

Oh wow that's an interesting one.
Re: Rayman 3
Here are the two animations for it as well:
I wonder what would have caused it to appear

Re: Rayman 3
I wonder if the idea would have been that some would be traps, but that would have been pretty annoying.

Re: Rayman 3
I imagine those would pop out if Rayman got too close or something. Those animations are also cool!
