Ok, so it seems that he's not going to be active anytime soon, so I'm going to give the next clue. I'll be making a new time limit rule regarding this issue later. Anyways...

While there is a bonus level in that phase, it’s not the one I’m thinking of.

Clue 8: There is a bonus level in this Rayman 1 phase.
Clue 8a: The phase is the last part of the level it’s in.

Cave of Bad Dreams.

That was actually my first guess, but then for some reason I decided to change it. Probably overcompensating for my bias in that Rayman 2 was the first game I played that had cages in it.
