Re: Rayman Legends
Well, it looks like there were more daily challenges and daily challenge extremes today. Yay.

Ubisoft has postponed the closure of online services to the 1st of October.ItzalDrake wrote: Fri Jul 01, 2022 5:43 pm On the 1st of September Ubisoft will be closing the online services of many games, Rayman Legends (PS3/WiiU/X360) is one of them.
What a great way to celebrate Rayman's birthday, huh?![]()

I doubt they did it because of Rayman's birthday, I guess they encountered some issues and so they were forced to postpone it to the next month
Re: Rayman Legends
so, how will this affect the switch version? aside from obviously the daily and weekly challenges?

Re: Rayman Legends
The Switch, Stadia, PS4, Vita and XOne ports of the game won't be affected, for the other ports you won't be able to access the online services, so challenges and all the leaderboards won't be accessible

Re: Rayman Legends
From what I have heard and seen the Stadia port is the worst one, the cups in challenges are glitched and the game is laggy
Re: Rayman Legends

Re: Rayman Legends
Google is shutting down Stadia, so this means that Rayman Legends won't be playable anymore after around one year and 2 months of its release on this platform.

Re: Rayman Legends
I have no idea, maybe Ubisoft lied about shutting down the servers?

Re: Rayman Legends
This is from a video description "Every consoles' servers went down earlier today, when challenges updated, and they all got back up 1-2 hours later one by one, including the OGs for some reasons, despite Ubisoft saying Wii U, PS3 and Xbox360 was supposed to shut down October 1st but i don't mind keeping my Wii U servers up not gonna lie." (from a video by Bapa on YouTube.) As I commented, does Ubisoft even know that they're still up?

Re: Rayman Legends
Sounds like someone shut something down and then realized it had killed all the consoles, not just the old ones, so then they had to turn it back on!
Long may it last!
I was hoping they'd accidentally reenabled PC too, but no such luck…

Re: Rayman Legends
Looks like the Medieval Dragon boss finally got a name (and will appear as a guest character in a mobile game called Hungry Dragons.
What do you think of the name "Grunderbite"?

Re: Rayman Legends
Thanks for the info. That's kind of interesting and I guess this collaboration could go into the Rayman in Popular Culture RayWiki article.
