How will this bonus game work?

Well, this bonus game is based around DKC1’s bonus game, the player is tasked to find the exit within the time limit. If they reach the exit on time, they get a Bonus Coin as an award.



Speaking of collectibles, there will be one Electoon/Bonus Coin in each level, there are six levels planned for each world, the Electoon Medal will become full when all six Electoons are found in the corresponding levels. Though Electoons will be trickier to find than Bonus Coins.


Also created some overworld sprites! These two are the only ones I saved right now, but the rest are finished! The second one is for swimming.


Yes, they’re supposed to look this way, they were scaled down to 141x89. (I think it was that).

Thanks! These are definitely a challenge, especially with always having to erase parts of the sprite for each frame of new animation.

I actually finished Rayman’s team-up throwing animation and his attack when he’s thrown.

Well, to answer that, I just finished Reesie’s team-up throwing animation! I had to use frames from her forward tilt animation and combine that with the Dixie sprites. It looks janky now, but I’ll be sure to fix it up it GMS 2.

I really like the final version of Reesie's team-up throwing animation. The frames from her forward tilt animation look great in there, and the whole thing looks very smooth and natural.

The render looks stunning, as always!
But it makes me realize that having two limbless characters in one scene can get a bit confusing – at first glance one could get the impression that Reesie is holding the rose and Rayman is rejecting it! Not a real problem though, just interesting!

Quick little animation I created while playing Sparks of Hope! I wanted to change his death animation to something a little more silly. It’ll be edited in GMS2 to make it look nicer.

Made a render of Rayman riding Engaurde last night! Since he’s gonna be possibly the only Animal Buddy in the game, thought it’d be fun to make render of the two.

I actually finished it 100% a few days ago! It was super fun and I’m eagerly awaiting the DLCs since I bought the Season Pass!

Unrelated but, my birthday is coming up in less than a week! So that’s pretty cool!
