Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
History & Background
A couple of months ago Ubisoft decided to delist Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run (and Rabbids Big Bang lol) from all digital storefronts including Google Play and Microsoft Store, which means they are now abandonware games. Because of this, I have taken the liberty of cracking the Windows versions (with RayCarrot's help) and uploading them in their entirety to archive.org!
Installation Requirements & Remaster Features
Due to how WinRT/UWP apps work and the method we used to crack them, there are a few roadblocks you'll face to install them. First of all, you absolutely NEED Windows 10 or above to install them (it may also be possible to install them on Windows 8, but I don't recommend it at all...) second, you need to have developer mode enabled in the settings app (more detailed instructions on how to do this is in the readme files included in the archives) and finally, you need to run a PowerShell script to install them to Windows as third party apps, and they must be ran from the Start Menu every time, you can't just open the .exe files to play them.
Aside from uploading the original, vanilla/unaltered versions of Jungle Run & Fiesta Run, I've also decided to make my own unofficial remasters by upgrading the assets to be on par with the quality seen in Rayman Origins and Legends. For example, I've upgraded Rayman Jungle Run's assets to use all of the higher-resolution textures and sounds I could find in Rayman Origins, and porting over the DLC from the mobile versions (the PC version's DLC is missing due to Ubisoft shutting down the download servers) making this essentially be the definitive version of the game! For Fiesta Run, the process was much harder since the game uses a hybrid of Rayman Origins and Legends' assets, thus some sprites had to be manually adjusted/recreated (credits to Raphael Drew Boltman and Lepidópterus for helping me with some of the sprites as they are a lot of work to do each).

Thank you for your work, do you know if there is a way to obtain xbox achievements in rayman fiesta run? I can't login to my profile and wanted to complete this game

I recently just released modpacks for the recently-released Ubisoft Connect versions of Jungle Run and Fiesta Run which only contain the modded files, in case anyone wants to play those versions with higher quality sprites. Download link is on the first post as always!

Re: Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
Thanks! Is there any difference in the end between using one method or the other?
Re: Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
Well, in this situation it's more like pick your poison. The Ubisoft Connect version of Rayman Jungle Run and Fiesta Run have better controller support and Windows 7 support, and other quality-of-life features like functional achievements and wallpapers, but they are riddled with bugs that might throw off some people, as Ubisoft didn't really do a good job of porting them. The Microsoft Store versions have less bugs, but use an older codebase and therefore have less features than the Ubisoft Connect versions.hoodlumsworld wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 11:27 am Thanks! Hello,
Firstly, thanks a lot for your remastered games, there are totally playable and with all DLCs included!
However,
I've just found that Rayman Fiesta Run (Remastered Version) is only playable in English even if Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese Localizable.strings exists.
As I am French and I want to have the game in French, I've searched and read some files, and I've found that at line 4-5 of the AppxManifest.xml file, you "add" English language by typing:So, by logic, I've tried to add this line, uninstall and reinstall my game and it worked!
So, is it possible to update your AppxManifest.xml file to add all other supported languages for the game being playable in 12 languages without having to edit files.
Thanks!

Re: Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
First of all, I would like to thank you all for your fantastic work in this Forum and with this Remastered Versions of these titles, I am glad that you are keeping these titles from becoming Lost Media and providing certain enhancements to help the more inexperienced players through their playing sessions.
The reason why I decided to make this comment is because despite my initial "success" with the installation, I went through some very strange issues afterwards...
After following the instructions and having the specifications of the installation on my computer (having Windows 10, installing the titles with Developer Mode), the games were working quite well without issues. After this, I turned off my computer because of housework and when I turned it on hours later, the following happened:
A. The Games were no longer working nor booting no matter what I did.
B. Over 2 GB of space from my SSD went missing after the installation and further removal of the game without explanation.
C. The DLC Files for Jungle Run were "damaged" and wasn't able to open them nor install them.
D. The second time I tried to install the game, all of the progress I had went missing.
I will really appreciate if any of you can help me with all of these issues regarding the Game's Installation in the coming days since I would still like to play these titles in the near future.
With nothing else to say, I wish you all a great day.

can't unzip the jungle run dlc archive, it says it's broken:\
Re: Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
Listen pal, after I not only managed to install and uninstall successfully both titles twice, I will attempt to install the Jungle Run DLC by using the Rayman Control Panel.
I will keep you tuned if anything happens because I had the same issue regarding the "broken" DLC files.
I´ll see ya soon!
Re: Rayman Jungle Run & Fiesta Run for PC (with download links)
You're not supposed to unzip the dlc. Just copy the .zip as-is and it'll work. The game doesn't load the dlc levels unless it detects the .zip file as being there, so I made an empty .zip file to be placed in the appdata just for the game to detect it.
Reg. RCP, I haven't added a Jungle Run DLC patch there yet, and not sure if I will at this point. There are some weird issues with some backgrounds not loading from the dlc files and the only way we found to solve it was by modifying the game installation itself (which icup's version here does). Sadly the original PC dlc files were never preserved, so we're using the Android ones here which might be why some things don't properly work.

I can't run the script with Powershell, when I click on Run with Powershell, it opens and after 1 second Powershell crashes.
