So last week it somehow got HOTTER than before. It went to -4 last week and even lightly snowed, but now it’s 8° even in the early hours of the morning :nostalgic:

The snow here still hasn't melted away, and it keeps snowing on and off. It has been above freezing for a few hours a couple of days, but only barely, with it being 1°C.

These days have been incredibly cold, around 13ºC at noon. Nights will be worse from the upcoming days, around 3ºC. I would have to think about the last time we had an incredibly cold weather here

It’s -1°c at these early hours of the day. My fingers are cold. Patters of snow on the ground. So peaceful

So I had to look it up, 13ºC is like 55ºF. That's perfect in my opinion.

What's the coldest you'll keep wearing shorts in then? :P

Though this weekend for us will literally be cold though, with wind chill values well below zero degrees, in Fahrenheit.

I'm not totally sure, but probably around that. Last March it was typically 3C in the morning, and I'd go for morning walks every day in shorts/a tanktop and a sleeveless vest, it was super nice. In this much colder weather I still only really wear a hoodie and leggings or capris
(yeah, it's a competition apparently)

Nice :shoote:

I like when it's really cold or hot, it's just kind of fun and atmospheric. Thankfully it doesn't get too hot here though, a hotter Summer day might be like 24-27 C, which is perfect to me. I don't mind if it's 30+ either, that just means it's beach time, which is a rare opportunity here since it's rarely ever hot enough for it to actually be a really nice experience

Next week it’ll go down to -4°C. A good excuse to wear my coat with all my money in :noel:

That's cold for me. If the temperature isn't around 23-25ºC I don't wear shorts nor T-shirts . If I didn't leave my hometown I wouldn't have ever seen snow in my life :(

These next days will be "incredibly cold" (13ºC max./2ºC min.), but next week it will be around 22ºC.

It snowed! It actually snowed!

Didn't realize until I peeked through my blinds. I just got back from doing a few cartwheels out in it. I'm a bit rusty so they weren't great...But I had a lot of fun.

It was amazingly peaceful out there...

It's melting away a bit now, but seeing everything blanketed with snow earlier in the day was just beautiful. Seeing as it's still 24F outside, it should drop by nightfall and refreeze whatever's left, so I can see the cold sticking around for a little while longer...

Watching snowflakes drift around sparks an awestruck joy in me that I hadn't felt in sometime. It was a wonderful sight to see! :coeur:

(Speaking of which, I just noticed it'd stopped snowing here on the forums! Then again, I wasn't around to see it leave, either.)

Are those studded tyres? When I was in the Lofoten islands in Norway, the rental car came with those and it made driving on the icy roads really easy, even with a 2WD.

Yeah exactly those. It's amazing since I'm so used to snowy / icy conditions being dangerous for driving, but these tyres make it seem easy. In Ireland they just cancel public transport when it snows and people struggle to drive.

I've never seen (and used :)) winter tyres in my life. I guess I'm f*cked up if one day I wake up and it's snowing

There aren't reasons to believe it's going to snow tbh. Temperature has been around 20-24ºC this week.
