Saer also said he'd try to pop by, but he sounded quite busy. Jack l'escroc should try too.

I have a girlfriend of three years, but no kids yet, though I fear that's right around the corner. In my limited free time I enjoy golf, biking, watching football and gaming.

See you in a couple of hours!
TOBBE, I'm so happy to hear from you again after all this time :noel:

That sounds like a wonderful career and life path you're on. Keep it up :mryellow:

Sure is a bunch of names I haven't heard in a while... Even when I was active.

Actually, I checked my history and it's hard to fathom that it was all those years ago already.

Orthopaedic surgeon huh? Great to hear that man. I'm pushing 40 myself and still with no kids but given that both my partner of 14 years and I are neurodivergent (waiting 2+ years for an ADHD assessment and having to wait even more) I've leaned towards not having any at all. Work has been all over the place for both of us so as we've seen in the bathroom thread I've worked as a cleaner for a few months while still keeping my zero hour stocktake job, while he still does freelance animation as well as a zero hour cinema job.

Keep it coming guys it's great to see yous again!

I certainly agree, it's great to see how far some of us have come since our days of shitposting on a Rayman forum.

Oh so this is where your username came from! Though I think I'm more familiar with CherryT at this point tbh.

Good to see everyone, thanks for the invitation!
I'm studying IT, learning to play drums and occasionally work as a sound engineer at our student club.

Same to you! Yeah, I've got my shit somewhat together, but working as a surgeon is quite draining, not sure I'd choose the same career again if I had the ability to time travel. :shoote:

So what are you up to these days?

The pay is all right, but considering the amount of hours - including nights, weekends and holidays - we work, it's not in any way spectacular.

I guess : working in healthcare is usually not the best field for work-life balance :/

I hope it works out for you anyways.

Is your whole career supposed to be like, or will you get opportunities to get a better work-life balance in the future?
