Re: Pizza
Oh yeah some time in July I went in Zizzi, but made the grave mistake of trying out the vegan meatball pizza. The base and plant meatballs were good but that "mozzarella" was awful, it was more like being covered in a plain ass bechamel sauce. If I'm to go next time I better ask for regular mozzarella.

Re: Pizza
There used to be a turkish pizzeria where I live and their pizza was delicious, I loved the taste of their tomato sauce and they also made this kind of pizza with kebab on it.Master wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 6:58 pm Nah, I think my out there pizza is a Donner Pizza. It's a grease trap but goddamn is it goooodddd
Sadly it closed for some reason and I would love to have their margherita with kebab again..

Re: Pizza
Aww that does suck, I'm pretty fond of Turkish Pizza as well. I've not had it recently, but I remember when I have had it before, it was called Pide iirc?ItzalDrake wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:19 pm There used to be a turkish pizzeria where I live and their pizza was delicious, I loved the taste of their tomato sauce and they also made this kind of pizza with kebab on it.

Re: Pizza
Pepperoni with black olives, stuffed crust and big maybe on the jalapeños, it depends...Eh, I can dream. My family doesn't like black olives or jalapeños on pizza. As for pizza joints, I'm a big fan of Mr. Jims and Dominio's. Cici's ain't too shabby either though!
Course, I still haven't gotten around to making the chocolate & anchovy pizza from that old point and click adventure game "Bud Tucker In Double Trouble" yet...Ah, someday. At first I was revolted by the idea, but I'd never tried it before. So I wanna try it to see if it's really as revolting as I first thought. I dunno, maybe I might like it!

Hmmm chocolate and anchovy? What a curious combination. Did others think this was disgusting?

Re: Pizza
The Turkish and Egyptians are very good when it comes of flour-based products such as bread and pizza, in fact there are so many Turkish and Egyptian pizzerias over here.Master wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:24 pm Aww that does suck, I'm pretty fond of Turkish Pizza as well.
I remember last time I went in Egypt and there I used to eat a small margherita pizza as a snack almost everyday for how much it was good

Re: Pizza
I didn't know there were Egyption variants of Pizza, I'll have to look into that. Turkish Pizza I've gotten from Turkish takeaways here, but I don't think I've ever seen an Egyption one so that'll be a search I suppose xDItzalDrake wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:36 pm The Turkish and Egyptians are very good when it comes of flour-based products such as bread and pizza, in fact there are so many Turkish and Egyptian pizzerias over here.

Re: Pizza
It may sound weird, but these combinations are normally excellent as it's a combination of both extremes. I haven't tried that one, but for example, chocolate and black beer is also a very nice combinationThe Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:30 pm Hmmm chocolate and anchovy? What a curious combination. Re: Pizza
I don't mean variants, the only variant is that margheritawoth kebab in it, all the rest was the same pizza you can find in any Italian pizzeria, it was just the pizza dough and tomato sauce had a wonderful taste and consistency that made them special
