Nice idea, but where did this go>?
Re: RaySaves - The Rayman Savegame Archive!
Where did what go? Raysaves is right here (it's linked in the first post). The Jonster wrote:Nice idea, but where did this go>?
If that's not what you meant, then what exactly is "this"?

Minor bug: when you try to download the Candy Château save, you get a 404. The reason being that the link goes to the non-existent https://raysaves.raymanpc.com/saves/ray ... AYMAN3.SAV whereas the correct file is https://raysaves.raymanpc.com/saves/ray ... AYMAN3.SAV

Re: RaySaves - The Rayman Savegame Archive!
How has it been over a decade since RaySaves was made and yet we still haven’t added saves from any more games? While I don’t really use it, I’m sure there are people who do, so I wouldn’t mind pitching in to add more stuff to that (as soon as I find out how to). If possible, maybe I could try and add PC Rayman Legends saves whenever I get a Windows to play it on Steam?

Theres a 100% save of Rayman Origins on Speedrun.com, so that could be added.

If someone provided me with saves for other games, I could create basic pages on the website for them. I wouldn't have time to make them look as good as the others, but if someone wants to help with that too, please let me know!

Decided to check the resources page for RL, and saw they also had a 100% savefile!

Edit: 5 minutes later I see that Hunch already found and posted the savefile 3 hours ago, oh well :P

Re: RaySaves - The Rayman Savegame Archive!
For a save in a game like Rayman Origins (using as an example), where the player is required to set a score and collect certain objects to finish each level, would the expectation be that the stats for each level was wiped up to that point in the game? I see that the Rayman 3 saves have scores of zero, which, without having played R3 before, I assume is impossible in normal gameplay?Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:09 pm If someone provided me with saves for other games, I could create basic pages on the website for them. I guess the question I mean to ask is should the save represent a state the player could be up to that point in the game or is the save supposed to simply grant the player access to many stages in the game while having them at an initial state, even if such an initial state is impossible with normal gameplay that far into the game?
