The Jonster wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 7:52 pm Oh my gosh Death Chamber is sooooo good. Definitely a great track and I really like exploring the stage itself hahaha :D

I'm A Spy (Security Hall) - Sonic Adventure 2
I really like this stage, but I remember doing the A ranks in it to get all the emblems was another thing entirely :oops2:
Oh, my cousin is really good at Rouge stages and she loves her! So naturally I had to practice so I could compete whenever we would do multiplayer treasure hunts on SA2B! Dry Lagoon is also really great! Don't love Mad Space though (damn you tall and large area!)

Time for a change of pace, with a controversial game that I never played but still curious to play! :bad:
Sonic 06 - Tropical Jungle
I actually meant Death Chamber, but turns out the comment about the A ranks suits Security Hall even more! :oops2:

The multiplayer mode made the treasure hunts a lot more fun! Must be quite a challenge to win against her if she's that familiar with these stages!
I do love Mad Space's music, but the stage itself... :confus:

I played and finished it... It wasn't worth it. :noelnoir: (I'm convinced the Silver ball puzzle alone took 15 years off my life expectancy...)
Heh, at least the soundtrack is a masterpiece, Mephiles is one of my favourites Sonic villains ever and the glitches made it somewhat fun unlike Sonic Forces. And now there's Project 06 to make it good! :mryellow:

YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, THE MORE THE MERRIER! :fou:

Shadow the Hedgehog - Egg Breaker

Funny how this boss managed to sneak its way in Shadow Generations through Dark Beginnings... Though they missed the part where Eggman repeats the same lines a thousand times every 2 seconds. :hap:

Understandable. I think treasure hunt stages were a lot more challenging in SA2 than they were in SA1.
I've only listened to 06's soundtrack so far, I already have a number of tracks that I listen to often. If there's one I thing I like Sonic for, is that I can always find a number of tracks I like in each game. :D

While I'm of the few who still enjoy the SA2 treasure hunt stages, I have to agree with the common criticism about the radar only detecting a single shard at a time, it's really a downgrade compared to SA1 in that regard... and the levels were often harder too with sometimes incredibly cryptic ways of finding shards and secrets.
Same, the music will always be one of Sonic's greatest strenghts! ... Well, except in Sonic Chronicles or maybe that one Wii U game which shall not be named :hap:

Unleashed had quite great tracks, even for the calm ones! :chinois:

Nice! A capo is an indispensable tool in a guitarist’s toolkit, IMO. I have one too ;)

Very much agree. The lyrics are a bit nonsensical sometimes though :confus:

Cool to see you have a guitar as well! What songs do you like to play on it?

I started looking at Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack recently. Some of this music is nice actually.

Sea Stage (Neris'/Lunge Fish's theme)

I really like how there's a mixture of day and night music that I really like from each world. I like both themes from Windmill Isle for example. I'll follow your example though and choose the night theme for this. :D
