Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
The old messages in this thread are cringeworthy
Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!
This year we have an extra day off (i.e. two in total) in recognition of the Covid hardship of the last two years (and ironically the Taoiseach now has Covid
). From next year (if we're still here), the extra holiday will be around Saint Brigid's Day instead.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!

Speaking of St. Patrick, here is a nice movie about him.

(Other notable figures in The Torchlighters movie-serie include George Muller, John Wesley, Augustine, Perpetua, Robert Jermain Thomas to name a few.)

Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
Well, I got completely drunk last night, glad I didn't have any meetings today.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Not "Patty's Day" like some people are calling it. I would accept Paddy's, but not Patty's. That's not even close!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! We had a festive event themed after it at work last night, and then went to a pub which was doing the same thing, so you can imagine I'm pretty tired today.
Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
My dad mentioned that people were calling it that on Facebook. They definitely don't get it...
Haha yeah that sounds about right.Hunchman801 wrote: Fri Mar 17, 2023 3:38 pm Happy Saint Patrick's Day! We had a festive event themed after it at work last night, and then went to a pub which was doing the same thing, so you can imagine I'm pretty tired today.![]()

Happy St Patrick's day to the Irish fellas (and to those who will have the pleasure to celebrate it, even if they aren't Irish)! May the holy Guiness bless you

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
A day of celebration for Engineers, the Irish, and the Nigerians!

EDIT:
All Hallows' Day? Silly Pirez, you must think it's November because the weather's been all over the place the last few years…
EDIT:
Three years later… We're doing well, touch wood
Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
Happy birthday to Ireland, then I guess.
I'll be drawing on stream drinking a beer to celebrate.
(The beer will be german and was purchased at christmas. I'm broke and I hate life. Which is why beer is great.)

Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
Silly question for the Irish, but is December 6th a national holiday for you as well?

Happy day for St. Patrick!
Hm, this might be the first time this year since 2018 that I'm not having anything that's chocolatey-minty.

Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
Now it sounds like you're getting mixed up with Easter Monday, which is still about a month away this year
You mean December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception? Not a national holiday, but a lot of schools take a day off for it!Greengoop wrote: Mon Mar 17, 2025 7:37 pm Silly question for the Irish, but is December 6th a national holiday for you as well?
Re: Happy St Patrick Day!
I don't care about that no more. I've drunk my german beer on stream and I still can't tan : I'm part Irish after all.
Also if you want to see the result of the stream :
It's funny because he's holding a Guinness dressed as a leprechaun.
