My fanfiction writing today was only about 100 words. Which sucks but I have been writing for 3 days straight… also haven’t been outside in 3 days..

Yeah Linux environments tend to be very customisable and there are a lot of options as to which one you prefer too. KDE Plasma is one of the more customisable ones, albeit it's not as lightweight as certain ones either. I use KDE Plasma myself.

Try to follow this if you haven't already looked there: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=361814

It's been some time and RCP is currently using older .NET Framework, so it might be hit and miss, but it should still work. RayCarrot does have the intent to update RCP to use modern dotnet and I am trying to help out with it (extremely early stages just trying to get basics started), but it will be a long time before that will see the light of day. When that eventually does surface, it should have a native Linux version.

Oh yeah no problem, it will be likely months before that happens, but it will be nice. I daily drive Linux too, so it would be pretty cool to have.

You have a few options with that also, many people use Lutris when it comes to trying to launch different things that are from Windows. I don't really use it that often personally, but it might help simplify things a little. It might take a bit of jumping through hoops to get used to it and make these things work with Wine, but once you get used to it, you start to really enjoy using the OS. I did at least.
