Shadow Ray? (Who, even though they look identical, is a different character than Dark Rayman!)

Not who I was thinking of, but kudos to you for distinguishing the two! I personally think he should have had a different name and design - like maybe a black and white detective called Noir Ray - to avoid confusion; but whatever, he basically doesn't exist anymore since Adventures and Mini are gone, so I guess it's not worth making that much of a fuss about.

Anyways, I really hope this next clue doesn't give the whole thing away too soon...

Funnily enough he is called "Ray Noir & Blanc" in French As for why they used the same design: I'm 99% sure it was to troll us after all the pre-existing confusion over Rayman's evil clones

Huh, I didn’t know that! Now it makes even more sense to give him a look similar to those movies.

What a rotten trick, though definitely not their worst one…
To give my own two cents on the evil clone confusion, I see Raymesis as an evolved, improved, and somewhat reformed version of Bad Rayman, while I think of Dark Rayman from Legends as Rayman’s new and somewhat sadistic evil doppelgänger. For those interested in my thoughts about Raymesis, feel free to check out my fanworks section of the RayWiki. Who knows, I might make something about Dark Rayman in the near future!
