< doesn't want to use their engine though. :(

< also was up until 1am last night, only to have like the second sprite more or less done. :oops2:

<'s assuming Pirez's being facetious there, < isn't aware of UbiArt being a publically available engine, despite initial efforts <'s pretty sure it's still an internal UbiSoft tool.

<'s fairly sure similar tools exist for other game engines to do 2D in a similar manner, < knows Unity sees a lot of use for 2D games, such as Hollow Knight.

Facetious Pirez may be, < is too drained and tired to really see it well.

< probably can relate to how Steo and ^ feels though with the lack of sleep right now.

< will need to make sure to try to go to bed at a reasonable time tonight. Though < will be watching some Code Lyoko with friends first, but that should be done at a good time for bed.

< may try to be somewhat sensible tonight as well. The clocks going back should have been a good reason to end up in bed an hour earlier. :oops2:

< thinks it may have been one week later. < thinks it's interesting though, ^ seems to put them forward 3 weeks earlier, then back again 1 week later. There is an extra month of DST compared to Europe.

In fairness, < knows that the gulf between written and spoken French is so large that even experienced native speakers struggle with it at times :oops2:
It's funny actually, when < was learning French in school < used to find it strange that native speakers on this forum made so many mistakes in the written language (like mixing up infinitives with past participles). But then as < taught themself to speak more fluently, < realized that it is fairly easy to get those things mixed up in a train of thought!

< has heard that native speakers often even make mistakes like this yeah.

< is still really bad at French despite trying to learn a little here and there at times. < did try to learn some in school, but < only remembered the pronunciation of the words rather than the spelling. It's of course very very different with all the silent letters at the end of words.

< wouldn't mind knowing some for the sake of just being able to read certain things, or be able to post in the French forums. < expects it to already be extremely difficult off the bat with the gender related stuff.

< is very sure Japanese would be the hardest yeah. There are different types of Japanese, but < would definitely have an extremely hard time with any form of it personally. Then < will be bad at anything that doesn't use the Latin alphabet. :oops2:

< would still like to learn more but of course < is going to be very limited when it comes to resources to learn from, especially given how easy it is to make a mistake.
