Ubisoft is stupid to make a sequel. And with it being called RRR2, I think this is the end of the pure Rayman franchise.

Well if that is the case:

http://wii.ign.com/objects/903/903778.html
Ign has the 2 first screenies in good quality and a first trailer ( no gameplay ). It also has a hands-on you should read to know the game is BAD.
Look at the introduction at http://www.ubidays.com to see another 'rabbid fact'-ish video for RRR2.

How could they do this to us!
They have completely destroyed Rayman there is a good chance we won't see him again!
He has been around 12 years and in just one game they kill all that those 12 years gave us!

Fabulous--just what I wanted to hear.Raving Rabbids 2 concerns itself even less with Rayman and much more with the rabbids...

That's why Blok and I will be making a new Rayman game. One that we'll sell to ubisoft and revive the series.
Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...
I don't hate the Rabbids or RRR, but I was hoping they would make like Wario and have a series thats separate from the main franchise so they could focus on a Rayman 3d platformer (or maybe give Ed some work, and replace Rayman with him in the rabbid game)
Apparently thats not happening in this game, which sucks.

I don't think we will be selling this one.gojaromeiginla wrote:That's why Blok and I will be making a new Rayman game. One that we'll sell to ubisoft and revive the series.

Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...
I just saw the trailer.
EXCUSE ME UBI WTF R U DOIN?
Seriously, this has GOT to be a joke. Now, I've not played the original RRR [do I really have to?], but I watched a longplay once and man was I dead disappointed? Well, maybe not as disappointing as Rayman M but still, why call it a Rayman game if it hardly has Rayman in it?
God...Rayman is following the same route as Sonic - each game will get shittier and shitter as it goes along.

I completely agree with you I wish there was some way to give them a reality check!
Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...
Well I guess not if you get all of the fun out of a game by just watching it.StaceyW wrote:[do I really have to?]

I wish they would take advantage of the Wii's online capability and allow it to be downloaded.

I hope not--Sonic has gone rotten, no doubt. People thought Shadow the Hedgehog was bad, and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) was practically unplayable.StaceyW wrote:God...Rayman is following the same route as Sonic - each game will get shittier and shitter as it goes along.
The Wii doesn't interest me honestly, though I've been interested to hear about a real Rayman 4 since 2003.

No. I am nearly done with sonic and it has been a lot of fun.foultzboyz wrote:

Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...

I thought Sonic Adventure's camera angles were annoying until I came across that game. I thought it was a game to help with the serie's now present awkwardness, too (First Shadow with firearms, now Sonic hanging with human girls, which is just a tad freaky).

Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...
It was on the Dreamcast though. Plus the Dreamcast isn't exactly a next gen console.

I'm just comparing its camera angles to the new Sonic game's. And yes, that was back on Dreamcast and they could've well improved since then.

Re: They're back, and they aren't here for carrots...
The dreamcast was still a great console though.

Yeah; I still have mine. (It's the black Sega Sports Dreamcast.) I still play it now and then.
