Apart from schools colleges and large offices may have a similar way of creating Internet networks.

That's true, but most things like that are all wired, because it's more stable that way.

If a very large network of office computers that, say consited of 200 computers, There would be absolutely enormous problems if the wireless network lost the signal. The whole network would be shut down - 200 computers rendered unable to access the internet in an instant.

Exactly. Wireless would only be used if laptops were in use. And even then, they might have ports to plug into.

I think the conclusion we have reached is this; wired networks are faster and much more reliable than wireless ones.
