I've noticed. I mean, I try not to bang on RZ. However, I just prefer PC much more. I believe if there were less spammers and mean people there, it would make it a much better forum.

RZ really is getting a nicer place to be lately, at least compared to how it was when I joined (in the middle of the Rabbid-war, whohoo), but PC is still a much nicer place. :3

Heh, I never really looked in to that war. But yes, PC seems to be a wonderful place. It appears that the Rayman fans and the Rabbid fans disagree on so many things... I guess both are still at war... At least that's how it seems. Seriously, is the only way to stop all this arguing is for Ubisoft to literally seperate the two of them? (That would be nice...)

Wow, that's quite some time. And yeah, we all get bored of waiting. But can't you just edit the double/triple posts into one post? ;) That can help.

Yeah, it's always best to edit posts rather than duplicating them :)

One very bad mistake I did once. I didn't edit the posts, but instead I posted in a row FOUR times. -_- But I was new to chatting on the internet. I had no idea what I was doing. I guess my excitement just took over me... Heh, that was several years ago.

I once annoyed some guy on his forum flooding up to 3 pages of threads with stuff--very random and unrelated stuff. (Just having fun) And it is nicer here--you don't need people constantly breathing down your throat to make sure you don't get into harsh language and the likes. People are going to, rules or not, and the little kiddies browsing will see it, though if you're that offended or protective of your children then you/they shouldn't be on message boards. Either that, or join some language-proof message board where every single post is checked prior to being put on the site. (From experience, it can take days for the messages to get posted.) With the allowed language use and knowing you aren't getting scolded for it, even in general talk, it leaves for a much more at-home environment.)

Yeah, I know a person online who hates swearing period. Who used to be a mod here and "tried" telling people not to and all and editing posts and all... still, today he runs his own forum not allowing that. Oh well, I don't really care really. Besides, the whole thing about the "Rayman and Rabbid War" sounds stupid to me. I haven't seen it but I heard people talk about it. Rayman was here first, and Rayman should continue. The hell with the damn bunnies in the party games. Rayman Raving Rabbids was alright, but Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 ruined Rayman. I heard Ancel was mad over that and I heard he threatend to leave Ubisoft over it. I hope the RAYMAN series, not Rabbid series, will continue. And the war stops and all.

To me, RZ is not like it used to be. Back in 2003/2004 RZ was great... especially on PHP.. then on Christmas, RZ was hacked and taken down. Took Ubisoft forever to get it back up, but instead of a new PHPBB forum, they go with crap. Which is why I left forever. PC is what I like, work at, and go to. A lot of good old members not seen anymore.

Good thing Foultzboyz is around still. ^^

I never heard of Ancel getting mad over Raving Rabbids 2... That's interesting! One person even told me he didn't care about Rayman anymore. I'm so glad that was false information. Hopefully Ancel will take a major part in the real Rayman 4.

And yes, RZ was much better in the older days. Less spammers too. I don't really care about the Rayman and Rabbid war, but... I kinda hope Rayman wins. As you said, Rayman came first, and Ubisoft should continue on with his games.

I couldn't agree more--what a great guy!

As for the Rabbids, if anyone remembers, Raving Rabbids was the reformulated [original] Rayman 4. (Kind of like Halo wasn't even an FPS for a long time before they finally decided on changing it.) I even saw video footage of the actual gameplay back when it was Rayman 4, the action game. Even I couldn't quite see how it would work, and apparently, neither could their crew. Before you know it, Rayman 4 is transformed into a party game directed towards the Wii players and released a few months later. I didn't have a problem with that, after all, you have an almost complete game at your hands that you'd prefer to do something with instead of ditch the entire project. Generally, it was a good game, though the controversy came among Raving Rabbids 2's announcement. I thought maybe the next Rayman subsequent to Raving Rabbids could possibly be Rayman 4, which would've been the first game of the main action series since early 2003, though I was also pretty ticked to hear that they are focusing more on some Raving Rabbids sub-series and pushing aside the main series. It may bring in new fans, though at the same time it is discouraging some Rayman veterans who have been behind the...whatever-he-is since the '90s. This would eventually have a gradual impact that would have him remembered by the Rabbids and not his actual roots from the nearly 13-year-old original game. (It is already happening. Most Rayman fans around my area know him by Raving Rabbids and have not even heard of the older games. Likewise, other Rayman veterans I know are beginning to ignore the series because the developers are losing some focus here.) So far the impact isn't too terrible, though if they decide to announce a Raving Rabbids 3, it would have a serious impact on the veteran fanbase, and I sure hope they keep this in mind. And [finally] I don't blame Ancel--he had a plan and they screwed it up. Thankfully, he seems to want the series back on track, and his team would truly be idiotic to not comply with his wish because of several aforementioned reasons and the fact that Rayman is nothing without Ancel. (Another article of mine--I always have to do this with debatable stuff.)

From what Phoenixan told me, Ancel is working on something. Either a Beyond Good and Evil 2, or a real Rayman 4 game. (Beyond Good and Evil is a good game which I like. ^^) I too do not blame Ancel, I believe he will try to do something good... him being the creator of Rayman, I bet he hates what his creation ended up as, being RRR2. I don't think I will even get RRR2... If there will be a new Rayman 4 game, which HAS Rayman, and which IS adventurous, then I will buy that, if they was to make a BG&E2, I'd get that also.

In my opinion, RRR is a screw up, on the PC version anyways, since you can't have it installed on the same PC with BG&E... then neither game will run. Just be currupted. Anyways...

I'd rather put a bad CD in the microwave then play RRR2... >=3 Sparks will fly. >=3

You're not alone.... I won't get Raving Rabbids 2 either. I just hope Ancel will get Ubisoft back on track with the Rayman series... And if they continue on with the Raving Rabbids series and ditch Rayman in the mud, I will be so ticked off.

Ancel didn't even work on Raving Rabbids 2. (You notice how the team always seems to go the wrong direction without Ancel? Same thing with Rayman 3 happened, though he didn't mind that near as much Raving Rabbids 2.) If they keep the Raving Rabbids series going like this, then Ancel will end up leaving and then where will we be? And Ubisoft isn't for a Beyond Good & Evil sequel, though we all know that Michel Ancel is. Recently, he's said he's working on a new project that is very close to him right now, and it is widely presumed to be Beyond Good & Evil 2. And I have gotten the chance to play Beyond Good & Evil a while back--not exactly my kind of game, though it still deserved more credit than it got.

If the secret project he's working on is a BG&E2, that will really make a lot of people happy... However, I kind of hoped it would be the real Rayman 4... *sigh* Ah well. There's always time after that, I suppose. No need to get so hasty...

I've only played Raving Rabbids at a friend's, but I won't buy it. It's quite funny but I don't especially like party games. I guess I won't buy the second one either then ^^

Raving Rabbids can be fun at times. But like you, I'm not that in to party games. I may rent Raving Rabbids 2, just to see how often Rayman appears. However, I would take action games over party games any day.

I find the rabbid games kinda fun. If a friend comes over i'm willing to play some minigames for multiplayer fun!
But i wish they had come out with their original ideas for rayman 4.

Those games are sure funny, but what most of us are waiting for is the real Rayman 4 ;)
