Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, Jak 2 was pretty hard. One of the hardest I've played, actually.

Re: Rayman 3
jak and daxter and jak 3 weren't nearly as hard though.
Re: Rayman 3
Do you mean The Precursor Legacy?

Re: Rayman 3
Indeed, the final battle was ridiculously easy. And the ending was pretty crap, I thought.

Re: Rayman 3
yeah, you get 100 power cells and all you see is them staring at a mysterious bright light. although, it seems that the first one was made for a younger audience than the two that followed.
Re: Rayman 3
Was there any mention of that in the later games?

Re: Rayman 3
the bright light? i don't think so. actually, there was something similar in jak 3, after you control the dark maker thing on the ship you see a bright light. and then later on inside the precursor ship.

Re: Rayman 3
I think the hardest game i've played is Time Splitters. Level 1: Zombies everywhere.Xenon09 wrote:Yeah, Jak 2 was pretty hard. One of the hardest I've played, actually.
Re: Rayman 3
I haven't played that game.
@ Holy Crap -That's kinda sucky then. I did notice that they didn't really keep to the same storyline.

Re: Rayman 3
well, kak and daxter doesn't fit in quite as well, but jak 2 and jak 3 together have a very complex storyline.

Hey HC, just to let you know that my name is FAB (short for fabulous now). I was previously flyingrabids.
Sorry about going off topic. Anyway, i was wondering. Is the final battle different in the ps1 and dreamcast versions compared to the PC/N64/Ds/PS2 versions?

Re: Rayman 3
i don't know about the dreamcast, but the ps1 version is quite different. it starts off the same on the crows nest, or at least very similar, but after he falls through and the movie plays, instead of him grabbing the poles and you collecting ammo, he flies (yep, he can fly in that version) down a big tunnel shooting things at you. you chase him with the shell and have unlimited shots to attack him with. but they don't do much damage, the real damage is when you deflect his heli-bombs at him, and also, when he starts firing homing missiles at you, you line them up so that when they speed past you they hit him and do lots of damage.

Re: Rayman 3
In the Dreamcast version, the battle is the same as any other version (Except the PS1 version), only the Grolgoth has a golden tint.
