PC Worldwide Project
Hey!
In case you don't know well the history of PC, let me remind you that both German (2003) and Dutch (2006) forums were created, but eventually deleted because of inactivity. It seems quite clear that bringing them back or creating categories for other languages will end up the same way, but it makes PC too selective for worldwide users.
This is why I thought we could create single topics for all languages spoken here (except English and French). We would just need one trustworthy native speaker per topic, so this person can make sure no dangerous discussions take place.
Let's build up a list now!
Spanish: ??
German: ??
Italian: ??
Dutch: ??
To be continued...

Re: PC Worldwide Project
We can already compile important information about PC's history with The Pirate Community Documentary.
And as for the topics dedicated to users that speak specific languages, PC mainly consists of English and French speakers. We do have Spanish, Dutch, and other languages being spoken here, but them people speak English too, so there is not really any need.

Re: PC Worldwide Project
You don't get it, some people would just like to talk here in their mother tongue.
Re: PC Worldwide Project
I suppose you wouldn't need more than one board for Norwegians, Swedes and Danes then, since we all can pretty much understand what the others are writing. And I don't think there are many speakers of those languages on this board either, haha~ cx

Re: PC Worldwide Project
The problem is that I don't think native speakers will bother managing a topic.

Re: PC Worldwide Project
What the?!
Well... I don't think it is needed. Another thing is currently Polish Rayman forums sucks. There were two: one was striked by another, the another one became a forum about ideas of its admin.
Are you Polish? (For English, French etc.: tongue and language are the same words in Polish.)timoo wrote:You don't get it, some people would just like to talk here in their mother tongue.

Re: PC Worldwide Project
was that necessary roberts?
Re: PC Worldwide Project
I agree with Beebop here actually.
It's a good idea, but we don't have enough people here who speak different languages. We have 1 Swedish member, 1 Norwegian, 1 Dutch, but not two of anything. I believe I tried this in 2005 and sadly it didn't work.

Re: PC Worldwide Project
Now we have two Norwegian members. :B Still, I am positive we don't need our own thread.

Re: PC Worldwide Project
it would be rather boring.
Re: PC Worldwide Project
Indeed. A whole community would be needed in order to make it a successful topic.
