Re: Birthdays and ages
That's a bit weird I think, here you get a discount as long as you're studying in school/uni
Re: Birthdays and ages
Forget full price. I'm 16 and still say I'm a child! Where I live, currently we don't need to use any form of age identification.

Re: Birthdays and ages
well, at pizza hut, despite being 15, taller than most of the staff and having noticeable facial hair, they still charge me as a "child: 8-12".
Re: Birthdays and ages
Here too, but I haven't started studying yet. I'm just applying for school, baw.Matyuv wrote:That's a bit weird I think, here you get a discount as long as you're studying in school/uni

If you know how to drive and own a car.Holy Crap wrote:that's not much.
It's quite expensive really, once you know the value.
Normally here, it'd be a lot less.
Gas prices here in America, what the hell?
We thought $2.00 was too much but now it's up to 4!
You don't think that's much but remember, about $4.00 a gallon, how much would it cost for well, I don't know, what's the usual to fill an empty tank?
But it costs a lot, I know that.

Re: Birthdays and ages
that's still a pretty cheap bus trip if. i think...
@kelvin: we pay about $1.50 a litre, and seeing as a gallon is about 3 litres, you've got it good!

Re: Birthdays and ages
I wish I could have a solar powered vehicle...cause the gas prices alone are what are preventing me from wanting to get a license...
Re: Birthdays and ages
Well the future cars with doors that open upwards are powered by hydrogen. Which is easier than using petril. For one reason, it's getting expensive. These cars themselves are expensive too!
Re: Birthdays and ages
lololol. I'm supposed to pay full fare, but I bring my brothers passport whenever I take the bus.Limely wrote:I'll be sixteen in seventeen days. That means I'll have to start paying full price on the bus.
He's 14 and I'm 16, but we look very similar. Norwegian buss fares are ridicolously high, at least in Trøndelag.

Re: Birthdays and ages
Why can't people get cars to run on water or something we don't have to kill ourselves to get?

Re: Birthdays and ages
We pay 1.5€ for a bus ticket in France, which is quite a lot actually
Re: Birthdays and ages
A regular buss fare within the city of Trondheim is 30 NOK, £2.95, €3.73 or $5.82. Whichever you prefer.
Gas prices are a lot worse over here. In Norway, one of the world's leading producers of oil, the gas price is roughly $2.50 per litre. Multiply that by 3.7854 and we get a gas price of about $9.50 per gallon. Now that's high.
EDIT: And some politicians have suggested that we force the gas price up to 25 NOK or $4.86 pr. litre, or $18.40 pr. gallon, for enviromental reasons.
Gas prices in America are actually really low. Stop whining for God's sake.Kelvin12 wrote: If you know how to drive and own a car.
