Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yep, my friend came over and he brought his Wii so we're playing a LOT of Brawl.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I am ashamed to admit that I've been playing the Kung Fu Panda game a lot recently (I downloaded it if that makes anything better <_< ). It was surprisingly good for a game based on a children's animated move, lol. It's a platformer, with some fighting in-between of course. There's also some flying and boat-driving levels.
The controls are annoying though (probably better on console) and it's a hassle to turn the camera. Po is so big and fat and clumsy and slow it's almost annoying to control him, which is too bad since you have to use him trough most of the game. There's some levels where you get to use the Furious Five and Shifu, and that's cool.
The level where Tai Lung tears down the entire Jade Palace and you control Shifu to chase him down and fight him was rather epic, by far the best in the entire game, though I was a bit disappointed when I finally emptied Tai Lung's lifebar and thought I'd won, and he gets up, hurls Shifu trough a door and strangles him. (of course you have to finish the game as Po, what were you really expecting?) Also hate how you have to fight Tai Lung like a billion times during the game.
And urrrgghhh the "cutscenes" between every level consists of some text which Jack Black (Po) reads aloud while emphasizing every damn word and occasionally shouting "AWESOME" or "WOOOOOOW" at random places. x_x Thank gawd you can skip these. There is also absolutely no puzzles to figure out on your own, since Shifu, some random villagers or that old messed up turtle will always explain to you in detail what you have to do and how to do it, even on the highest difficulty. x_x The game is also rather short. Took me two evenings to complete it in Heroic-mode.
The level design and stuff is quite pretty though, and the music is nice enough. So is the voice acting, mostly, if you ignore Po's long monologues. All in all a nice enough game, which I believe might even have made it on it's own without the movie if they'd elongated it a tad bit and removed those damn farking scroll-reading cutscenes and replaced them with some real happenings. But of course the movie will up the sales of this game, d'oh.
Shait I just barfed out a whole review. And I just meant to say that I've been playing Kung Fu Panda... x_x
So... uuhm I've been playing Twilight Princess a lot too, and I've been trying to collect more lums in R2, as well as exploring the Shivering Isles a bit more in Oblivion. Been a while. The amount of dungeon-crawling in that game puts me of, I'm not much of a fan of that. I prefer doing my missions on the surface thank you very much. I especially hate Ayleid ruins. So much traps and lich-kings and skeletons and ghosts and shit.
Lal that was completely tl;dr wasn't it?

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Been playing Cooking Mama a lot lately. None of those knockoffs of this game cut it.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've been playing Pro Cycling Manager 2008 a lot lately. This year's version came as a positive surprise. It's much more realistic than, say, last year's version, which crashed to desktop every third stage or so in additon to being unrealistic and generally badly designed.
I also play Football Manager 2008. This game is more addictive than crack.

I think someone's going to try and tell me that this isn't possible.
But it is.
I played TOO MUCH Brawl yesterday.

I sucked at it too. Which is why I use the GameCube controllers. Just tell me if you ever wanna exchange Friend Codes. None of my other friend's are ever online, so... yeah.
Lol, I played my DS all night. I barely got any sleep.
Even when I blink, I can still see those little vehicles flying around everywhere.
