One of the most magical Rayman moments for me was when I managed to record a tricky combo in CF. I felt so relieved afterwards :)

"Rocky Peaks"...?

Is that some perverted Gameboy version of the Blue Mountains?

Yep that's the land in Rayman GBC based on Blue Mountains in the main game.

You bastard.

Anyway, when I first reached the Rocky Peaks, I thought it was the dwelling place of Mr. Dark, because of it's dark skies, and arcane earth.

Mr Dark's dwelling place is the Candy Chateau. It's made of candy, but in a rather sinister way, like the witch's house in Hansel and Gretel. It also has lots of clowns around the place, and we all know how scary clowns are. It features the first and best appearance of Dark Rayman. It has Rayman riding a frying pan across hills of icing. It has Mr Dark putting strange enchantments on Rayman, turning the controls backwards, forcing him to rum uncontrollably, and stealing his telescopic fist power. It has the whole game's climax in the citadel of Mr Dark's Chateau, with its stained glass windows depicting the five bosses. It has Mr Dark's fused-together minions. It has the electoons giving Rayman's punching power back, thus giving the electoons an actual point. And, unlike the Gameboy version, it leaves the door open for Mr Dark to return. Someday...

I hated it, the plum travel is such a pain. and it should've had more of a boss battle.

"After helping Rayman over the lava, Umber suddenly started to attack for no reason..."
Wouldn't really make sense.

There are many scientific impossibilities about the idea of Rayman travelling on plums :P For starters, how can a plum survive moving on molten lava? Second, how could it float? It's just one of those things that doesn't make sense.

I don't think anything is lava resistant, but in Rayman's world I guess anything is possible.
