Well the breakout game was set in a confined space, like a box, and it gave bonuses, so I could imagine that it could be a present from the Magician. I'm not 100% sure though.

Reason can be really anything, e.g. cancelled part of Candy Chateau (do you remember that Rayman was blowin' up the BIRTHDAY cake? See connection with present?)
