There is no real Religion on Rayman's world, everybody believes (and knows) about Polokus

Not necessarily; at the start of R2, Rayman hadn't even heard of Polokus. And Ssssam said he didn't know what Rayman was talking about when he mentioned the masks.

That's actually something that doesn't really make much sense. If Polokus created Rayman's universe, surely it would be logical for Rayman to be aware of his existance.

He hadn't heard of the Masks of Polokus, it says nowhere that he didn't know what or who Polokus was if my memory serves my well

It's possible that Rayman characters are unaware of his presence because of his long seclusion.

I agree. Just watched a video of the fairy glade and it is "have you ever heard of Polokus". I think i confused it with when Rayman asked it to Ssssssam :?:

Considering that Polokus retired a long time ago, it's not so surprising that almost no one knows about him at the beginning of Rayman 2.

Urrgh.

Axel and Foutch didn't die. They were just defeated. Axel evaporates or something, and Foutch turns into flames. There is nothing to indicate that they died, antwhere. Umber definitely didn't die, because when you go back to SOSAF he is still there. If he is still there, how can he be dead? Same for Axel and Foutch in the PS1 version.

In the PS1 version, the guardians come back, but the masks don't, and the guardians don't have dialogue. Foutch leaves behind a Spiral Door instead of a purple lum the second time he is beaten. Surely this is proof enough? I find it strange that nobody understands this.

On the Nintendo 64 version you don't even fight him again.

Exactly, or on Revolution. And the N64/PC version is the most canon version, I believe.

They are all different versions of one canon, each version having only small differences. To change the fate of Axel and Foutch, if that is what they did, would be a severe breach of this inter-canon relationship, which I do not think they would make.

Nobody said that Umber died. He was a good guy who helped Rayman getting the mask.

Are you serious? R2 PS1 is more stuffed up than Revolution. Umber is called Collossus, the Iron Mountains are replaced with Gloomy Island, and there are ANTITOONS! Also, the Grolgoth can fly...

Part of the Fairy Glade has been ripped off, too. It's amazing how versions are so different.

There's a nice little in the Fairy Glade on Ps1 though where you stop a tap from working. The toxic stuff stops pouring into the water and you can swim in it.

Was that only in the PS1 version? Yes, I remember it well.

Whale Bay was changed a little too, if my memory serves correct.
