Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Wasn't there a game called BreakOut for the Atari Jaguar? And that's where they got the idea to put a reference to it in Rayman 1? That is, the Breakout minigame? And since it was a Jag game, the people who worked on the ports didn't want to reference a rival console's game so they dropped it? Or were forced to?

It's an advert in the new game, I almost threw the wii remote at the tv after seeing it. >:Acarr wrote:....16? *raises eyebrow*

The new one is dangerous, I hurt my tit playing one of the games
I've considered getting a wireless nunchuk.

When Rare makes fun of their outrageous fanbase, its clever and funny.Acarr wrote:Ubisoft are a bunch of f*cking arseholes.
When Ubisoft does it, its them being jerkfaces.\
@Serza5 - Which one was it? I don't recall any of the minigames being requiring a whole lot of motion aside from the dancing ones.

I forgot the name but it was the one were you ride on the mousse (or deer whatever it is).
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Oh down the snow hill? Yeah I can see the tricks being a little dangerous when you're trying to get them done quickly.

If they released that I would be at their studios, with a chainsaw and possibly my flamethrower.CheatCat wrote:Wait, is RAYMAN raving rabbs 16 a real game???

And don't forget the hockey mask!
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Make a ski mask out of the rabbids beanie. Just to show you mean business.

Truly cringeworthy. Hang your head in shame.CheatCat wrote:Soon they do a game called RayRabbit, I think...
The European TV Party cover sucks so much balls. BALLS I SAY.
Also, no Rayman on cover = BS. And they even made his name small in the logo. How scheming and narcissistic.
So, teh Lij, any more references to the Rayman series in TV Party? The Rayman 2 shell picture is cool but that ain't good enough sir, Ubisoft will be subjected to great pain if they pull out another sequel. I will honestly travel there and unleash an ass-whoopin.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I'm sure Rayman has a hoodlum scarecrow outside his house in RRR TP.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I think you're right on that! Never noticed it before.
54 seconds in. I'll go check if it can be seen easier to see on any of the other cutscenes.
Also, in Rabbidass (finally figured out the name was a reference to Jackass. That took me a while) either by random or by beating Rayman's score (haven't really bothered to figure out for sure) the rabbid's crash-hole thing has Rayman's shape.
Theres also of course the High score holder names like in RRR2 (although in this game Rayman takes Betilla's place as #1 score holder)

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Nice! Good eyes for spotting that. Good to know they haven't completely forgotten about Rayman. Now make Rayman 4. Plezus jesus.
