The Bible is full of stuff like this.Deuteronomy 13:8-9 wrote:Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
EDIT: This one is even worse:
Isaiah 13:15-16 wrote:Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

Re: God...
That's completely contradictory to many things the Bible says.Joshua822 wrote:" Ye shall not judge" and " Ye shall not kill "
Certainly not. When you die it's probably the end of your consciousness. That is why I am going to live forever.Shawn wrote:Nope, cause it never happened. (not in the context Spiral portrays it anyway.)
Well, you'll all see once you're dead.
If I can.
Re: God...
Those Bible extracts sound more like quotes from sadistic Shakespeare plays.

Arrr aye be my word matey I4LL KILLHAUWL YE !!!!
I'm shutting up about the bible tough. I don"t know all those exact peragraphs and i am not going to waste my time reading 10 books about the same thing.
But i wan't to ask you thiss, who said that God said that ? The isralists where walking trough the desert for a very long time and they finally wanted good land. Then a war is likely to happen, not that's a good thing tough...

If God didn't say that, that means the Bibe is untrue.Joshua822 wrote:But i wan't to ask you thiss, who said that God said that ?
Re: God...
That's not really relevant, is it? God didn't say that anyway. Whoever wrote that passage in the Bible did. The point is that there are passages in the Bible telling Christians to kill other people's children and rape their wives.Joshua822 wrote: But i wan't to ask you thiss, who said that God said that ?

Re: God...
Then the maniacs where the guys that wrote the bible. And the bible wasn't written by God. So that would prove that God is not a insane maniac. Neither Jezus neither God wrote the bible.evant, is it? God didn't say that anyway. Whoever wrote that passage in the Bible did. The point is that there are passages in the Bible telling Christians to kill other people's children and rape their wives.
Re: God...
No, it wouldn't. The only thing this proves or disproves is that society in biblical times was seriously fucked up. And whether God is an insane maniac or not is not relevant here, because he has a large number of believers who will do whatever the "Good" Book tells them to do.Joshua822 wrote:Then the maniacs where the guys that wrote the bible. I just want to say that the Buddha is a real person.Zay-el wrote:My opinion is that this world is just a tiny bit too weird to be explained by science only. I actually don't mind the thought of some force(s) governing over us, or the existance of things beyond mortal. As to whether that's God, Buddha, Allah, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, that doesn't concern me much. X3

Religions I believe in:
Pastafarianism (also invisible pink unicorns)
Christianity
Bhuddism
I've also got my own religion.
