Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
They should make one with all the regions and call it a day imo.

I said that earlier in the topic.

Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
Updating itself? No. That wouldn't solve the problem, in fact it would continue it.
They should just make one game which is basically the same as Platinum for the first part, but when you finish Sinnoh's League, you then get to go to Hoenn (which is different from the way it was in the GBA generation), finish the League in Hoenn, then go to Johto, (which has also changed over time), then finish the Johto League and finally go to Kanto and finish the Indigo League. Then some more shit happens and you get the Azure Flute.
That's my idea.

I like that idea.spiraldoor wrote:They should just make one game which is basically the same as Platinum for the first part, but when you finish Sinnoh's League, you then get to go to Hoenn (which is different from the way it was in the GBA generation), finish the League in Hoenn, then go to Johto, (which has also changed over time), then finish the Johto League and finally go to Kanto and finish the Indigo League. And besides a game that would get updates would require expansion packs or downloads from the internet. If they were downloads from the internet you would need some sort of special chord, and knowing how businesses are they would sell the chord separately, probably at a high price.

Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
Wasn't Cinnibar Island destroyed in a volcanic eruption or something? I read that somewhere, but I haven't played the GBC games. It would be epic if you could surf up and down the exact area where the east coast of Cinnibar was and find Missingno. And it should look like this. And they should do something with that truck near the S.S. Anne.
Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
Yes, Cinni was destroyed by a volcano, except for the PokeCenter.
Ah, Missingno. Awesome glitch. I think he should be put on the Pokedex, or have some sort of story. Perhaps a villain? He's like the ultimate Pokemon, after all. He's so strong that he glitches your game!

Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
My memories are faded; but I recall a building somewhere in the first generation where you got to meet some of the game's developers, and when you got all 150 Pokemon one of them gave you a certificate? Well, those guys are sort of the creators of the universe they're in. It's an odd notion, but couldn't they be incorporated into the Arceus story somehow? They could have coded Arceus, who then proceeded to create the universe, but a glitch in his coding created MissingNo., and...idk what happens next.

Ah yeah those guys are in silver too. It's wierd having some guy tell you that he drew you...
Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
I think it's pretty mean to give some one a piece of paper after capturing every animal. Give me some sort of glitch or something!

Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
Nah that's not the real prize. The real prize is that after you catch two of every pokemon they give you a boat.

I played the remake too (Leafgreen version). I never got Missingo glitch though.
Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
I never wanted it. I'm scared of glitches. D=
Re: Pokémon Gold/Silver Remakes
The Missingno glitch is only in the first four versions. At least I think. They're in Red and Blue, that's for sure.)Serza5 wrote:I played the remake too (Leafgreen version). I never got Missingo glitch though.
