Even if it wasn't an apple (this is the version globally accepted by Christians btw), can you name any other tree that bears fruit and that can survive for thousands of years?

That's a shame. It's fun to nail people like that with good Bible quotes out of the darkest verses of the old testament.

There were over a thousand people in the room; I wasn't about to stand up in front of them all and try to own him. Besides, I didn't have any good quotes to hand. And he wasn't really offering us a chance to give any feedback, anyway.
