Another side-effect of the casualty of the games industry is that systems are becoming more difficult to emulate. Touchscreens and whatnot. Image

You know, for the people who buy this and think, "Where are the bunnies?", I feel their pain. My first Rayman game was Rayman Junior, and when I got Rayman Gold, all I could say was, "Where are the questions?"

Because R2 was my first game ever, after that i played R1 and R3, at first i thought: Why isn't Rayman shooting lums?

I am going to get a DSi solely because of this game.

Thank God, I was beginning to think it was a Rabbids game. Without that knowledge, it's very likely to be; rabbids have been on DS party games twice before, while Rayman's only had one platformer on that system (two if you count Rayman DS). Also, Rabbids are more likely to have a game these days anyway. I'm sticking to the hope that it's a platformer "Jump 'n Run" game though.

Jump n Run is what most people in German speaking countries call platformers, so yeah. Also, I don't know exactly what GmbH actually means but I see a lot of German companies/divisions have that at the end [eg Lidl GmbH], so perhaps this is being developed in Germany?

Let's pray that it's more like R3GBA than Rayman DS aka a shitstain

I really hope this game isn't just a remake of Rayman 1...or if it were Rayman DS or some other already released game

I'd wait a while until we find out a bit more about it if I were you. It could end up being something like a rerelease of one of the GBC games for all we know.

If this is real, I wonder if Ubi would fix some problems eg. Bizzit and Mosquito sprites.

Rayman DS got alot of bad reviews because it was a bad port of the Ps1 version or something, so you never know.

This is good news. I'm curious who will be developing the game(s) though...

Also for those who don't have a DSi yet (I don't, I still have a regular DS), you should wait longer, as a bigger screen version is coming soon.

By the time I've saved up enough money for one, they will probably release a "DSii advance lite SP Platinum version series 2" or something mad like that a few months later.

O_o will this new one be out for Christmas? P:

Anyway this new Rayman game sounds awesome but if you think about it....

Rayman Advance = Rayman 1 remake
Rayman DS = Rayman 2 remake
Rayman DSi = Rayman 3 remake

I doubt it will be a Rayman 3 remake, since the graphics aren't quite up to that level on the DS. :\ Or if they do downgrade the graphics.. hmm.. I still doubt it somehow, since UbiSoft continues to milk Rayman 2 to some extent that SquareEnix milks Final Fantasy 7.

IF Ubi makes an R3 remake it will be for a entirely new handheld.
But i think that the PSP is the only handheld for now which can handle R3 graphics..... if Ubi downgrades the graphics a bit.

If they can release Rayman DS with beyond shitty graphics I don't see whats stopping them from doing the same with Rayman DSi, that is if they haven't learned from RDS.

They should make a REAL remake for R2 on the ds, and not an crappy port that is RDS.

@Gerbil, ANOTHER DS is coming?
When does it come out?
Or is it the exact same one that i found info at ''the Future of the Xbox360 and DS'' topic?

I doubt they'll make a remake of Rayman DS unless this one turns out to be that.
