Yes, but that's far more than outweighed by the fact that any 18-rated game gets a horribly bastardised censored Australian release, thanks to that Atkins guy.Holy Crap wrote:Actually I'm pretty sure we get a lot of games earlier than Europe. Brawl and HeartGold/SoulSilver for example came/come out a day earlier here than in Europe.Tobbe wrote:Oh, btw, I forgot Australia.
Great country, except for the fact that games are released much later there than in the rest of the World.
I disagree. Norway may have more highly-intelligent and attractive people than other countries, better healthcare etc., and may be a damn better place to live, but I think the USA is definitely the greatest country of modern times.Tobbe wrote:Norwegians earn more money than you, we have a higher standard of living, our health care is significantly better than yours, and we have a much, much smaller percentage of people who are stupid enough to believe that the Earth is less than 10 000 years old. We also have a very high concentration of hot blondes, although Sweden beats us on that particular point.
The mere fact that a country is a super power doesn't make it a great country. Would you also say that the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China are great countries. I doubt it.
And no, that doesn't mean I like the USA or anything about it. I don't. But it's bigger and stronger than Norway (or other country) and could destroy it if they wanted to. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that usually 'Good ≠ Great'.
