If that's true it will be a huge surprise.

Hehe, hopefully Rayman's matured by then
Seriously though, unlikely as it is (being a prequel and all) I really hope Ly gets a look in.

Rabbids haven't fault about Rayman's decrease of protagonism in the 3 Rabbid games. Remember those who worked for the 3 games.

Since the game is trying to connect the games and bring back more characters, I think it's actually very likely.

Well, as Ly doesn't appear until Rayman 2 I'm not sure she will make an appearance.

She was a very important character though, so it is possible.

Then again, I can't help but fear that the game will feature a very small ammount of characters and a lame excuse plot. I know Ubi promised us a 'very eventful story', but the style just looks too silly for something that's even supposed to have a story.

I'd like to hope otherwise, personally, but it's very true that we won't know until more information(or the game itself) is released. I'm checking the blog every day... every single day. And the Ubi Art blog from time to time. And no update. :C

What I wonder is this... will Razorbeard and his robo-pirates ever be in another Rayman game? I'd love that; Razorbeard was an awesome and silly villain. Totally evil despite his silliness though. =P

Oh yeah, this game doesn't seem to have a villain either. That's pretty strange. :confus:

Rayman's a nut... his BRAIN is the villian.

This, and Ubi has promised more than delivered when it comes to Rayman.

The blog says there will be hours of adventure and multiplayer fun... Maybe only this first episode will be a big game.

I get the impression that each episode will be not-quite-long enough... there'll probably be one boss per episode, or something. :(
Multiplayer fun? I hope they pull that co-op thing off.

By "hours of adventure" do you mean hours of getting stuck somewhere and trying to figure out what to do, as games do?

Oh, I'm not expecting the gameplay itself to be bad at all. Looks awesome and fast paced in the trailer.
Jewish Candy wrote:Rayman's a nut... his BRAIN is the villian.
The final boss should be him punching himself in the head then.

It doesn't look too bad... of course, it's been quite a while since that trailer's release. Who knows how it is now?

Judging by the ending of R3, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Or it could be a Cloud/Sephy final damp-squib-off between 'smart' Rayman and 'neanderthal pervert' Rayman.
