Re: Rayman Origins
Today I can't regret even more the fact of not having insisted my father to have bought a PS3 back in 2007 when he was planning to buy a Blu-Ray reader. Now I have a Blu-Ray reader that only reads HD movies... I wished there was a real-life Ctrl-Z. Or better PS3 lows down the pricings again soon. Or I'll be crazy and save 180€ for a 4GBs Xbox 360.

Re: Rayman Origins
So uh the artbook is Belgium/Netherlands only at the moment? Daaaaaaamn...
Re: Rayman Origins
Yeah, but I still find it weird that we in Belgium and Holland get a special edition. I think Game Mania just leaked the info early and that every country will get some sort of special edition.Cairnie wrote:So uh the artbook is Belgium/Netherlands only at the moment? Daaaaaaamn...
Re: Rayman Origins
I catched an italian website that accepts also the pre-order, and shows a provisory picture of the box:

Thank you, you just made us feel worse by making the image larger.

Re: Rayman Origins
Hmm, I've never bought a collectors' edition of a game before. Maybe this will be the first...
Re: Rayman Origins
... Okay, I changed my mind. I'll pre-order this.
Also the fact that there's a soundtrack included for the first time ever in Rayman game history... that's really nice of them! I'm starting to doubt I'll post an Origins soundtrack on RayTunes. If I do, it won't be the official one and it should have different/extra tracks. I think. Hmm...

Re: Rayman Origins
I'm still holding onto a bit of hope for PC considering From Dust just ended up on pre-order via Steam.

Re: Rayman Origins
This is actually making me sad, as this won't be available in Poland... for 99%. And I would love a soundtrack CD...

Oh well, I'm going to start to save up for a 4GBs Xbox 360, Ubisoft won.

Re: Rayman Origins
Then you'll be the most egoist person in the world. You know that game will be a complete success, but I think i will never convince my mother to buy a collector's edition because it's more expensive...I hope so,but it's very egoist from you not to let us hear the soundtrack. And too don't hesitate to do it because it someone does it before you then everyone will think you're very egoist and we will have the soundtrack anyways because if you don't someone will for sure xDDrolpiraat wrote:... Re: Rayman Origins
TeensieKing, you are being unfair with Drolpiraat. In case of you not being aware, he has got a good reason for dropping that idea of the music uploading. If Ubisoft will officially release the soundtrack in a disc included with the Collector's Edition, this means if he uploads this he will get in trouble with the law and Ubisoft can process him against piracy.

You’re joking, right?TeensieKing wrote:Then you'll be the most egoist person in the world. You know that game will be a complete success, but I think i will never convince my mother to buy a collector's edition because it's more expensive...I hope so,but it's very egoist from you not to let us hear the soundtrack. And too don't hesitate to do it because it someone does it before you then everyone will think you're very egoist and we will have the soundtrack anyways because if you don't someone will for sure xD
Drolpiraat’s refusal to upload the Rayman Origins soundtrack makes him ‘the most egoist person in the world’? Indeed, he must have an incredibly inflated sense of self-importance to make such statements! How dare he be so arrogant as to decline pirating music.
The game will be a ‘complete success’? Really? Thanks for confirming that for us! Now we can pirate it all we want and no harm will be done.
You can’t convince your mother to purchase the collector’s edition? In that case, let’s upload it, just for you! After all, it’s not as if there’s anything wrong with stealing. It’s not as if there are any other websites where people can download music. No, this is the only one.
Your assertion that someone else uploading the soundtrack before Drolpiraat would cause him to become an egoist is logically sound. After all, the fact that the soundtrack is somewhere on the internet would automatically mean that anyone who does not upload it has an inflated sense of their own importance. Of course.
And last but not least, it’s not as if uploading the Rayman Origins soundtrack for pirates to steal rather than purchase is unresponsible in any way. I mean, it’s not as if Ubisoft has reached out to Pirate-Community recently – say, yesterday – with the intention of cultivating an official relationship with the fans of their games or anything like that. Because pirating Ubisoft’s intellectual property while they’re trying to sell it would be a great way to repay them for going to the trouble of producing an official soundtrack release. And it wouldn’t jeopardise our fledgling relationship with them at all. It’s not like we’re going to have any important communications with them in the near future or anything like that...
You get the picture.
