The only criticism I have heard of the Move is ‘Nintendo did it first’, which does not hold water. I simply do not like motion-controllers, and unlike you it does not matter to me which corporation manufactures them. You claim that ‘what matters is having fun’; I don’t agree that the Wii is inherently more ‘fun’ than any other system, and moreover this is a shockingly narrow attitude towards the videogame medium. There is no reason why games should not be beautiful; look at Rayman Origins. Maybe you will change your mind when screenshots of the Wii version are released and you can see for yourself the severe reduction in quality.
1.PS3 and PS1 have the same gamepla. I've played both and I have found no differences between them in terms of gameplay, just the menu, online added and inalambric controllers.

2.Wii is not in any ways like the GameCube, and if you think it is,tell me in what way do they resemble beyond the games available

3.PS3 has no much variety, almost every game are shooters and sports games and it hasn't got any cool platformer or party game besides Rayman Origins and Little Big Planet
Saying that the gameplay of the PlayStation and PlayStation 3 are the same is like saying the gameplay of the Wii and 64 are the same.

Oh and the PS3's library of games is more varied than you think. Much more.

Not the same at all.N64 and Wii have radically different controllers.PSX and PS3 have the same controllers with the same buttons, just inalambric.About the game library, maybe, but many people don't even mention them because the only thing about PS3 I can hear is CoD,CoD and more CoD.Oh,and I forgot COD!

Even I can't agree with such statement. Gameplay =/= controls. Also, Sony is not responsible for you living in area of CoD lovers. Lots of my pals like different kinds of FPSes (i.e. id Software's ones, or Valve's ones), but it's not like PC is only for FPSes.

What you are saying makes no sense, as consoles do not have ‘gameplay’ – games do. I’m still not entirely convinced that you aren’t simply talking about the controllers. The increased capabilities of the hardware lead to gigantic improvements in gameplay and enable far more complex environments and scenarios to be realised. Compare Metal Gear Solid (PS1) to Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) and you will notice many radical gameplay improvements. Is this what you want me to do – give examples? How many examples must I cite to prove myself correct? Is that for you to decide? Why are you attempting to change this from a ‘high definition vs standard definition’ debate to a ‘PS3 vs Wii’ one? Do you think you might stand a better chance of ‘winning’ this by shifting into a position which is not objectively incorrect?
TeensieKing wrote:2.Wii is not in any ways like the GameCube, and if you think it is,tell me in what way do they resemble beyond the games available
Why do you expect me to explain precisely how the GameCube is similar to the Wii when you have utterly failed to explain how the PS1 is similar to the PS3?
TeensieKing wrote:3.PS3 has no much variety, almost every game are shooters and sports games and it hasn't got any cool platformer or party game besides Rayman Origins and Little Big Planet
The PS3 has plenty of variety. There is absolutely nothing wrong with shooters and sports games; some of the very best games ever made are shooters. You seem to hold the elitist belief that your favourite genres – namely ‘cool platformers and party games’ – are the only ones that matter, and that the enjoyment of shooter or sports game fans is not important. This is wrong in many different ways. Do you want me to post a big pointless list of PS3 platformers? That can be arranged, if you really require it. But again – why are you attempting to whittle down the broad resolution debate to a specific ‘PS3 vs Wii’ console war?

Meh, I prefer Wii. PS3 is a fine console, but can everybody just SHUT UP about CoD, Portal, and LittleBig Planer for ONCE!? I can't hear another story about them, or else I might get aggressive problems. :grrr:

Eat a Xanax then.

The PS3 catalogue has been slowly growing more interesting to me, but I'll go for the Xbox for now.

Gotta love Xanax, but even this can't turn down my annoyed feelings.

I never really looked much into the XBox and its games. The only game I really ever wanted was the Pac-Man Championship Edition and the remastered Pac-Man Arrangement. Yup, i'm an addict.

Ok sorry. Then I was mistaken,I'm spanish and I thought gameplay was all about controllers

You haven't explained me in which ways resemble GC and Wii,so I deduce you just don't know.

Looks like you're trying to get everything I say wrong.I meant to say that PS3 was too much shooters and spots games and...
"too few"?...platformers and party games to enjoy with other people.I'm not discouraging shooters and sports games, but I think PS3 would need more variety, because all I can think of when I think about PS3 games is blood.

And I'm not trying to get the solution to the war,I'm just trying to stop this, because all I can hear about the Wii version of RO is critisizm.

No, ‘gameplay’ is shorthand for the rules of the game, the way in which the players interact with it, and the way in which the game itself functions. It’s a huge concept; the shape and configuration of the controller is a tiny and insignificant part of it.

As I said, the PS3 has plenty of variety. They are not all first-person shooters. There is no shortage of platformers.

Oops  I didn't realised.I thin it's very similar because it has the same controller with the same buttons and when it comes to that the only diferent thing is the now you cancel qith the circle instead of the triangule.I see a somewhat similar game library and with not very different genres and not much variety.Anyways I have to admit I could well be wrong, because althrough I've played it in my cousin's and sister's house,I do not own a PS3,I just own a Wii,a NDS and a PS2

You still seem to be stuck on the ‘gameplay = controller’ idea. Who cares about the circle and triangle buttons? Nintendo’s game library relies on the same formulaic franchises which it recycles again and again for each new generation. Your criticisms of the PS3 are therefore more applicable to the Wii.

I'm not critisizing PS3.I'm just trying to show that PS3 is not so superior to let you mock Wii users

Wii is only really good for Mario games and all its spinoffs eg Warioware. That and Okami even though they cut the credits from that. And I'd probs keep my VC copy of Space Harrier on it since the one on the Sega Megadrive collection is awful, and I have Paper Mario on it too because I just know I'm never gonna find a real cartridge for it for less that £50 on eBay.

I've yet to find more retail PS3 games to find interest in (so far I really like Bayonetta and Sega Megadrive collection, didn't really like Littlebigplanet though) as most of the games I do have are downloadables. Scott Pilgrim, Stacking (quirky game about Russian dolls), Worms, Pacman and Sonic Adventure are some that are really worth getting. Then there's Origins and Sonic Generations on the way, as well as a remake of 2 3D worms games put together, that I'm really looking forward too.

Only thing that sucks about PSN is that they get games so much later than XBLA does, like Limbo. And that game Owl Boy looks interesting, come to PSN plz.

Yes you are. You said that it is not ‘fun’, that it has no ‘variety’, that it has bad ‘gameplay’, that it is not ‘innovative’ and that it has ‘shitty’ controls.

Yeah, Ps3 does have lots of variety especially in downloadable games. Personally I've really enjoyed these simple "art" games such as FlOw and Flower (looking forward to 'Journey' that should be out later this year). I'm also planning to get Limbo soon..
I could list some good retail games too but I don't want to make this this post too long. :'D Still, I greatly dislike FPS games yet I love my PS3 so hopefully that's saying something in this argument?

I have nothing against Wii though, it still has these great first-party titles such as Zelda, Metroid and Mario + backwards compatibility with Gamecube and virtual console games are greatly appreciated for me, since I've never had a Nintendo console before Wii.

I actually have much respect for Nintendo, and i find it sad how many people have such large dislike. Being able to create a good console and and good games is unique. The Wii offers much variety. Platformers, 2D sidescrollers, Sport games, Virtual Console, Fighting, and even several shooting games. (*Cough* GoldenEye and Dead Space *Cough*). The graphics may not be perfect, but I don't mind this all that much. After playing on my PS3 I really don't seem to miss anything.

The PlayStation 3 isn't bad either. Yet, I simply can't find much games that I really like. Surely Half-Life 2 is one of my all time favourites. I know that some FPS games might be called ''best game ever'' and get a bunch of awards, but even the dumbest person can figure out that Gamespot and IGN are huge fans of FPS games. Gamespot especially. Some of the best games i've ever played get huge dislike, while lots of FPS games quickly get high ratings. Please, don't bother disproving me, as BOTH of the sites gave Rayman 1 below a 7.5 rating. :tssk: See my point? Call of Duty is the worst. I've played it at some people's house a couple of times, and I simply fail to find what's so amazing about Black Ops. The game will soon receive a expansion pack. It will feature new ''Zombie'' levels. If games always have to be realistic, then perhaps the next game shouldn't have Nazi Zombies in it. :?

Something else that deeply annoys me is that Nintendo fans are usually compared to the description of ''idiotic''. Well, I decided to look at some people's reasons why the Wii and it's fans suck:

• The Wii supports homosexuality and racism (I wonder how it supports these, and why homosexuality is bad?)
• Pearl Harbor (...?)
• It is a proven fact that no Nintendo console has ever had a game released for it ( :tssk: )
• Nigga Nigga Nintendo (Should I even bother?)
• You can't use a Wii to murder by crushing a person's skull (Yes, this is not a joke)
• Nintendo fans are 40 year old virgins
• Every Nintendo fan is a retarded faggot

Sooo, can we all agree, or are we going to start asking for sources? It won't be hard to give them to you.

What the fuuuuuuck are these for real?'

Bad reviews don't always mean a thing, and in the case of Rayman 1 it didn't stop thousands of people buying it enough to become a platinum.

I've only played a CoD on the wii and I stopped in like five minutes, shit was boring.
