Re: Rayman 3
I've putted a better picture to illustrate the Vortex combat fatigue.
Re: Rayman 3
By the way, last time I timed it, Lockjaw lasted 50 seconds. Not that one second difference is that significant.

That bootleg I found the other day turned out to be yet another romdump of Rayman 3 with a cracktro.
Re: Rayman 3
Bah... It appears it is the same issue as the R2F you got once.Cairnie wrote:That bootleg I found the other day turned out to be yet another romdump of Rayman 3 with a cracktro.

Re: Rayman 3
Yeah and I reckon most other Rayman bootlegs will be the same, but now that I have 3 bootleg carts I may as well just keep collecting them so long as I don't pay too much for them. I'm more interested in clusterfucks like that first one, but to find a Rayman one altogether is really rare.

Anyone know why siameses hoodlums were remove of the game?

Re: Rayman 3
I guess they just didn't like them too much. I always wonder when concept art is abandoned, because usually, the artwork looks so much better than the endresult without that art in it... it's amazing. Budget cuts or runnning out of time are logical factors in this.
Re: Rayman 3
There is no information about the cause, we only know its existance because of a development artwork that shows that kind of Hoodlum. It could be just an experimental character, or it was planned to include them in the game but for any kind of reason it was removed from the final version.Danone wrote:Anyone know why siameses hoodlums were remove of the game?

It seems to have been replaced by Spinneroos, they look a bit similar in my opinion.Haruka wrote:There is no information about the cause, we only know its existance because of a development artwork that shows that kind of Hoodlum. I've tried the GOG version of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, and there's nothing new in the artworks brought in it.

There goes my leftover summer money!
Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, i'm currently playing it. It is my first time playing a PC game in five years or so. It took me all the way to the Land of The Livid Dead to get the controls. Main problem is that the left Ctrl button won't work.kristaldoodle wrote:WAIT. Re: Rayman 3
You can change your control settings you know. I made mine exactly like Rayman 2's.

This is my setup:stan423321 wrote:^ THIS. Although on some keyboards I replace Z with X becauser of relatively narrow spacebar.
A: Jump
Z: Grimace (healthcheck)
X: Roll
Left Shift: Walk
Left CRTL: Strafe
Spacebar: Shoot
Pad0: Look
The normal setup is rather uncomfortable for my hands. And using Right CRTL to strafe is annoying.

Or you can use a joypad, like me

Not really better you know. Arrows at least give you some precision, they do exactly what you want and not ~30 degrees what you want.Danone wrote:Or you can use a joypad, like me
