Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Don't worry about a consolation prize for me but I've got it right here.
Now listen carefully.
Before the contest began I had already booked me and Gaga tickets just for Saturday and since he did indeed win the grand prize he'll be taking me with him. So if you really still want to go to the expo and have the time for just Saturday, I'm going to see if I can make my tickets transferrable. That way I can make someone else happy, and the ten pounds I spent on them won't be wasted then.
I must remind you that if it's OK with Eurogamer to negotiate this, this will be in a first come, first served basis. So think carefully, please.
Edit: sent an enquiry to them. Fingers crossed it's gonna be cool.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Wow, after seeing all that I realise I never really stood a chance... even after my straight week of going to bed at 2:00 AM...
Well, it was only a faint dream anyway. In the back of my head I knew I wouldn't win, but who cares! I see now that, especially in comparisson to the rest, mine was indeed quite empty - though it may have made a good chance had I actually finished it. Oh well, we'll just do that for the poster in our room, no?
Congrats to all of you guys!
I kinda knew Raygirl would win... seriously, have you ever seen her DA?
Droolie, I really like your vase! It's quite cool indeed and deserves the place it got. Simplicity is key, right?
Great job, Gagaman! The artwork is both highly accurate as beautiful and the background is very well designed.
Haruka... well, what can I say. It's huge. Really mind-blowing. I especially like you kept the R2 style for Rayman.
Wow, Louvis... I think I'm going to use that as a pic for SOMETHING. Myabe just as a looker. But really... wow.
MasterHero, good job! I wouldn't have thought of it myself! Nice idea and probably a nice snack afterwards too!
Illegal, I like the colouring style you used for your drawings.
Spanex, you're perspective and the drawing itself are far out.
I like the watercolour effect in Tricai's drawing too!
Wiiola, yours is quite dark and... mysterious, but cool nontheless.
All the others who I haven't mentioned, great job! I just couldn't find the words to describe them all as well as the above ones.
Well. It's over. Finito. Great job, winners, great job everyone. Now we go onwards! To Origins! Or to our future fangames! Yes, let us move forwards now!
(Now I feel like a preacher.)

I take it that's just official speak for "If you're not in the top eight you don't get anything".

The main reason I'm offering this is because tickets are not refundable... not that they were expensive [tenner for 2 people] but yeah.

I also think your picture is gorgeous Louvis! I got amazed with the amount of characters you could put in here! It's really incredible, you really deserved to win. It's sad you hadn't the time to finish it before the end of the contest though...I would like to see the finished work later, unless you've already done it? ^^
...I must fav this on deviant art, NOW. ....And watch you, also.

I've uploaded it to deviantart already (nickname is exactly the same as my forum one, and I guess I got to re-upload it again). And, yesss, I forgot to add few characters :B
Congratulations guys!

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Eurogamer just got back to me, they said that I can just give the ticket to friends but I can only guess this will be more difficult because they won't change the name of the tickets.
Edit: Guess I can only restrict it to UK only, sorry.
So again think really hard. You can give your tickets to your friends. We do not need to change names at this late stage.
