Yes, but I recommend Rayman Forever, which also has the music problem, but the GOG.com version easily allows you to fix this. The game is quite cheap and comes with artwork, a wallpaper, computer icons, and the complete soundtrack as well. I did find a few irritating bugs in the game.
What does the GOG version let you do differently? I'm going to get it now, but I'd very much like to know. Do you also need DosBox to run it?

The GOG version already comes with the emulator and pre-configurations of it to boot.

The framerate isn't still stable, beware.

So it's not actually a modified version to be naturally compatible on a newer operating system? I was under the impression that it was.

The GOG version has got the same content as the normal disc version. The biggest difference is that the Pirate Head glitch does not exist anymore when playing in the Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers, while this used to happen with the disc versions (mine for example). It is a definitive buying for people who experience the problem in those operative systems and want it fixed.

I cannot spend money right now anyway. I'm saving everything I can for the PS3 and the C.E. of RO.
