As told before, rayman and the crew are supposed to be troublemakers at the begining of the game, maybe the red wizards are just trying to catch globox because he did something wrong, and he has to avoid them.
That's exactly what I thought at first, but then I noticed the exact distance between Globox and the Glutes, and between one another, and I realized this is actually probably a saving level. You have to lead these Glutes to safety. On the other hand, it could be that these Glutes are Fakirs who think that Rayman and Globox are holding BD hostage.

If a C.E is released for Wii, judging by the small difference between graphics, I might get that.

I'll be back later, got a dentist's appointment, lol wish me luck.

BTW, I GOT A PS3 YESTERDAY!!! WOO!

Simple. 576i is a crappy low PAL resolution at 720x576 (comparable to America's 480p which is 640x480). It's the standard resolution for a casual 90's CRT TV or cheep modern-day CRT TV. 1080p however is a resolution of 1920x1080, and is considered "full HD," which is what PS3s and XBox360s run with an HDMI cable.

I know that, I just meant if someone had two pictures of the same thing for me to compare. Because when I got my PS3 yesterday, my TV is pretty old/crap so it can only view my PS3 in 576i, I just wanted to see the difference.

Hold on a sec- PS3 games are region-lock free, right? THAT MEANS I CAN ORDER RO FROM AMERICA! because I live in Australia, everything costs almost twice as much as everywhere else in thhe world. But since PS3 is region-free, I can order my copy of RO for- hold on for another second! Check this out! http://www.ebgames.com.au/search?title=Rayman+Origins It's up for pre-order in Australia before GB and US! And check it out! We get the teensie on a foating flower-thingy! LOL that was exciting. Anyway, lets continue- $60 instead of $90!

I was wondering where you lived beebo! For a second I thought you might have been in the young Dutch group with Ikke and Rulez (and maybe RayTunes), but then that didn't computer because your English is too good (this is also why I thought you knew what "opa" meant.

Here's a comparison between 480p and 1080p:

(Left = 1080p, right = 480p)

I'm pretty sure I read it correctly, you just didn't state it correctly. did you mean left = 1080p, right = 720p?

And if you're curious:

Image

In comparison, the original Rayman runs in CGA (PC) and QVGA (PS). It surely looks great, but that's because it's based on sprites, not drawings, which is why Origins does really benefit from full HD (1080p).

Thx Hunch! I guess this means it'll be worth getting a HDMI cable for my PS3 so I can play full HD instead of just 576i.

I believe you mean vector-based drawings?
