Yup, I do too, it'll be interesting to see what it's like when the shoe is on the other foot.
Though in fairness, I should really be letting go of that grudge.

The problem with the Rabbis is that the ideas added into the humour is quite good. Unfortunately when using this is in a large list of games, short clips on YouTube, and soon a TV show will ruin it. My first time playing Rayman Raving Rabbids I had a good laugh at it and enjoyed the clips on YouTube. Now I see another joke about toilet paper and just ignore the wackiness and play the game.

Oh that show. The penguins are way funnier in the movies.

I didn't think Penguins of Madagascar was that bad, yes, the humour is no-where near to the movies, but the show is worthwhile.

The humour is quickly designed for commercial purposes. The only show that I really loved as a kid were Super Mario cartoons. The sound effects and music were all from games and with the elements from Mario it became one of my favourite series. I sold the DVD's in 2008 on a market to someone who was a good friend of mine back then. It's a shame I ever did that.

Back to the Rabbids: Will they ever have a real adventure game? Rabbids Go Home wasn't a real adventure now was it?

You seriously hope that to happen to the rabbids, guys? isn't that a butthurt attitude? :/
Come on, guys, just cause the rabbids ruined rayman's popularity for a lot of years doesn't mean that they should be ruined. Ok, right...I don't have a point, they should die.

Not really; in my case it’s just a desire to see great games succeed and poor games fail. Remember that the future of gaming is very much at stake.

Especially the grannies that want to offer a very cheap game for their grandsons' birthday. They look to a cheap game with a cute cover and they say "My grandson will love this.".

Maybe someone of Polish members has mentioned that already but...

Louve finally moved her butt from cozy home and went to paper shop. Egmont Polska is offering itty-bitty Rabbid Collection: 4 issues, every contains: PC CD-ROM with 4 RGO minigames, little rabbid figurine (if you're curious - here you can see full collection - there are 30 of them), and little magazine with installation instructions, keybindings and mini solutions for games. In my shop there was unfortunately only one magazine, last issue with broken figurine (that one with carrot on a stick).

If you're curious: there are some close-ups for CD covers and 4 figurines.

There always has been, and always will be good and bad games, much like with any other media. While bad games tend to sell well sometimes the good games even if they don't sell well the first time around are far more highly regarded and remembered and later on become an asset for companies when they can re-release them (see a lot of recent XBLA/PSN re-releases of games that were not popular at the time but have a cult following now). The only thing that would bring an an end to 'future of gaming' would be if most companies went bankrupt (which some have as of recent such as Midway and in many ways Hudson sadly).

The Rabbids games really weren't that poor. They did what they set out to do decently enough. Well, all except that Travel in Time game which was a complete shambles. Compared to many other sports/mini game collections on the Wii they were at least fun for a short while and well designed for the most part. Plus Go Home was a unique platformer that did it's own thing and was also fun.

Really Rayman fans need to accept the Rabbids are still popular for both their humor, their look and their games and should be grateful they are now nothing to do with Rayman so you can easily just ignore them now. To be fair if Rayman kept going the route it was going with the likes of Rayman M and 3 it would have lost popularity over time just like all the other platformer series like Crash and the like did. The long hiatus of Rayman games may of done the series more good than bad to be honest. Better to have a few great games then a whole bunch of stale ones.

I think Stan mentioned this. By the way I have issue 2 and a tennis figurine.

So what I said earlier about the idea that Ubi could sell blank Rabbids vinyl toys for artists to customise? They've done exactly that.

http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubiemea/en_GB ... Eeerz.html

Up for pre-order. £30 though, ouch. Not sure how tall it is though. They also have velvet coloured ones too, those are even pricier and perhaps harder to customise.

The link always redirects me to the UK shop of Ubisoft. This is nonsense because if you want to see other countries shops, you just cannot.

Oh yeah I see what you mean. Searching the shop for 'Eeerz' does the job though.

Oh and the blank figure is 28cm, so rather large actually.
