You may have heard of the kidnapped soldier, Gilad Shalit. He was freed today and returned to his family after 5 and a half years in captivity. In exchange, Israel freed 1200 Hamas militants with blood on their hands. I know about two of them who killed once, got in prison, were freed in the Oslo peace accords, killed again five months later and are now being freed.

When Gilad was freed today, the Palestinians chanted- 'We want a new Gilad Shalit'.

I remember, when I was in the first grade, that every day we were shown a few maps of places where buses were blown, supermarkets were destroyed, hundreds had died, and this is my most vivid memory from the first grade. This is what's called today 'the second Intifada'.

Now that all these murderers are set lose, the third Intifada is upon us.

For the next couple of years, I'm not gonna get in a bus. I want to be alive to say to my mom 'I told you so' when people start getting killed. I also want to say that to the rest of this moronic country.

Gilad Shalit is an Israeli-French soldier so it's a hot topic in France as well. I don't know a lot about the 1027 Palestinian prisoners but I can't help wondering if this is a wise decision.
