Re: Rayman Origins
With some luck, Rayman 3 HD won't be very expensive. If that happens, I believe I can get EWJ HD and the RO avatars too.
Re: Rayman Origins
I'm pretty sure that tomorrow I'll play Origins. Finally.
EDIT: what the fuck is this sig?

Re: Rayman Origins
Well, I'm going to get Rayman Origins tomarrow, or the day after, or the day after. Either way, I heard it's good and I'm gonna have a blast playing it.
Re: Rayman Origins
I now have Origins. Only cost £24, bargain!
A few things:
1) It is so similar to Rayman 1 that I got goosebumps playing some of the earlier levels. They really have recaptured the spirit of the first game perfectly.
2) It is a lot more difficult than people on here have made out. It's easily as difficult as the first game, probably more so in places.
Favourite parts so far (bearing in mind I'm only as far as Band Land at the moment)...
- The level where you ride along the Electoons at the end of the first world (I've forgotten the name of the level). This is an instant classic.
- Hi Ho Moskito.
- Jumping on the Wizard's hat and then hearing that same voice (albeit speaking in gibberish) that greeted us at the start of Rayman 1 all those years ago.
- The little tunes that the Lums play when you collect a batch of them. Just like Tings.
- The friendly green birds (pelicans?) in Band Land. For some reason I find these utterly adorable.
- The trumpets from the original Band Land, reincarnated as birds with bagpipes.
And so much more on top of that. Above all, it is just a f**king awesome game. It does have it's silly moments but I don't think the game is immature at all. Hats off to Ubisoft for taking Rayman back to where he firmly belongs.

Pelicans? I think you mean toucans.

It used "you're" (the abbreviation of "you are") instead of "your." You see now?NotaKuroi wrote:Eeerrr.. What's wrong? I don't understoodRayFan9876 wrote:Sorry, this is just awful:

Same here, fingers crossed!
I wonder if the release of the Vita and 3DS versions will speed up sales?

Re: Rayman Origins
Maybe, but I'd go for R2 anyways,I don't like R3 that much. It's okay though, but from all the Rayman platformers,it's the one I like the least...Haruka wrote:PSN could also have a bigger variety of cards. The minimum one asks for 20€. Eeeep... I think it is better to wait for Rayman 3 HD.
Re: Rayman Origins
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is the weakest of the quadrilogy, but this game will have some changes in the PS3 version. I'm more looking forward to it just for the trophies.

Re: Rayman Origins
According to vgchartz.com, Rayman Origins has sold this many copies on each console:
PS3 - 215.782
Xbox360 - 179.275
Wii - 166.840
This is without counting the sales in Japan. I guess the '50.000 copies in 3 weeks' thing was only in the US, and only for one console.
