That's the one! I thought 'pelicans' sounded wrong somehow. Thanks.

I'm now on Gourmand Land, which is incredibly fun to play. The ice parts remind me of Eat At Joe's and the lava parts remind me of the Mr Skops boss fight from Rayman 1. Love the boiling pots in the lava sections and also the dough clouds. This game gets better with each play!

Does anyone else find that Rayman Origins feels strangely ‘insubstantial’? We go sliding around the place, smacking enemies and running up walls; everything feels as light as a feather. In Rayman 1, the movement and attacks were slow, steady and solid, and you really had to struggle to defeat some enemies; in Origins, everything’s slick and rapid, and you can blast through a row of enemies in a fraction of a second.

There’s also the matter that each level is segregated into numerous ‘rooms’, while the Electoon cages are kept off to the side in special chambers; in the first game, all the objects and environments felt a lot more tightly integrated and cohesive. Everything seemed much more ‘tangible’ back in R1 than it does here.

I have. But RO follows a different design philosophy than R1, as the main element is chaotic fun, which adopts some different combat mechanisms to suit it.

Don't get all EXCITED, dude. It's not 'bloody' the way you would like your girl to be.

EDIT: the 'EXCITED' never was 'horny', I tell you!
