I would like to see that by myself. Aswell the photography thing.

Basicly your DSi just takes a photo of you every time you hit the Photographer. There's no way to turn off the camera shutter sound either (why the hell did they do that?).

Advance was my first Rayman game as well. I'm one of the few who loves these odd tunes.

I actually had a lot of fun raising my middle finger to my DS.

I just had a scary thought. You know how at the beginning of English with Rayman, Betilla and the Magician get turned into garden gnomes by Mr Dark? And you know how in Rayman 3, there are lots of garden gnomes that look kinda like Rayman?

What if the reason Rayman is the only one of his kind after Rayman 1 is because the rest of his species was turned into garden gnomes!? D8

So Andrew is still around, faking his death... it makes surprisingly EVEN MORE SENSE NOW!

He tricked everyone into thinking he's dead, knowing that his cousin (the Magician) would find out and impersonate his hero/cousin. So now there's two of them. Run.

So then they turned the rest of their species (I am assuming) into garden gnomes so Rayman would kick them and smash them to pieces!? D:

But does that explain the baby who's hair changed colour from purple to brown...? :fou2:

Anyways, in other amazing news, I might have another go at completing Mr Stone's Peaks tonight. I'll have to play Anguish Lagoon some more to earn some more lives, as last time I used up most of my lives in the first few parts of the level then forgot I actually had to fight Mr Stone at the end... XD

My only working ear doesn't deceive me...

Well at least this version has credits that you can actually scroll through without having to hang around for hours, looks like they've had the Bucharest team working on this in part though I would like to know where Making Fun [developers] are based in.

It's funny how people say the Rayman Advance soundtrack is bad compared to Rayman 1 but have you heard the Rayman 1 GBC soundtrack!?!?

Felt like my eardrums were being scratched with red hot rusty pins :confus:

As tinny sounding as the Rayman Advance soundtrack is (which in fairness to it really can't be helped) I do like some of the exclusive tracks they added to replace ones that wouldn't sound good GBA style. I'd love to remix some of them but unfortunate the Game Boy Advance music to midi converter doesn't seem to like any of the Rayman games :(

Like High Mountains? (At least I think that one's exclusive) I really like that one.

And to be honest, I think I actually like the GBA version of 'Harmony' more than the normal/original one. Except for the original version's piano solo, that kicks some major butt right there. :D

I'll have to check what one High Mountains is, because I've got them under different names on my computer but I'm assuming you're referring to the song that The Musician plays when you make him a new guitar. If so, Rayfan has already done a lovely remix of that :)

I can definatley say that in my opinion the GBA version of 'Harmony' (the band land theme) is the weakest. The CD one is just amazing (particularly the piano solo) and the Jaguar one is really catchy. Eh, maybe it depends on what version you played first (and I think you played the GBA one first if I'm correct...)

EDIT: Yeah, I was right about the track you were talking about

You can find Rayfan's version at 3:17 on this video:

Oooh, gotta check out that remix then :D And yes I played the GBA version first.... I remember I used to play Allegro Presto over and over just to hear it.

And in the GBA version I managed to get 99 lives by playing Allegro Presto over and over for the tings. :fou2:

Lucky. For some reason it keeps forgetting about all the extra lives I earn from tings every time I load back - it's making life really hard :(

Just a question, were you ever able to beat the GBA version?
