Same here. I like both games, though I would prefer Mortal Kombat, especially the latest one. Either that or a Tekken or DOA title. Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to playing Street Fighter X Tekken.

Mortal Kombat. I can't stand Street Fighter for the life of me. I can't stand the art style, I can't stand the mechanics, I can't stand the controls, and I can't stand the gameplay.

I have never actually played either of them. I prefer Tekken and the occasional Soul Calibur fight

I love Tekken, but it's the only fighting series I've really gotten into. I'm interested in Street Fighter though, so this might change eventually.

I'm willing to try Tekken someday... but I'm just so used to playing Mortal Kombat and Street fighter though.

Yeah Tekken was the only fighter i've really been interested in besides smash bros, and I have no plan to try any others.

Is it more like a clone to Street fighter though?

It is my issue: Fighting games aren't quite my style.

My biggest exceptions are the Super Smash Bros. series and Rayman M/Arena. I remember trying out Digimon Rumble Arena for PS1, and I liked.

Assuming you are talking about Smash Bros I don't have a clue as I only got it because it was a big hype at the time. (And by that I am indeed referring to Brawl)

The only fighting games I have thoroughly enjoyed would be Super Smash Brothers and Soul Calibur. Besides the fun factor, they had that charm that many other fighting games lack.

Street fighter.
The ultra combos on street fighter always felt like one hell of a challenge to me, which made it fascinating to play.

I'm actually more into Street fighter now. Just there's a one character in Mortal Kombat that I can't see.

Should this be renamed 'Fighting games in general'?

From what I've heard the two are very different. Tekken is a full 3D fighter that allows characters to throw each other in different directions, sidestep and generally move around everywhere in the stage. It uses a 4-button system, with one button for each hand and one for each foot.

I liked Super Smash Bros. Brawl at first, but eventually I got tired of it. Gameplay only stays entertaining for so long, and for all of its content most of it is pretty useless, such as stickers, event matches and the adventure mode. They could have spent that time making a better level creator or something.

Yeah, the level creator was a huge disappointment. I understand not being able to have everything in the game in the creator but the platforms and stuff could have at least looked less mechanical. I also found it kinda clunky to use, but then again, I'm not very good with level design anyway
