Yeah, I'll be happy to chip in with the songs that have lyrics at the bottom of the screen, but the game itself is pretty straight forward due to it's primary school level. Well, I have little trouble playing anyway :P

To quote the demo video you uploaded some time ago,
"Oh what a lovely music you will play"

So any more spoilers/descriptions on some of the activities?

Yeah, you could tell just by the song in the demo that the songs were clearly written in French and then translated to English, they don't have rhythm or rhyme! Plus the fact that I definitely think that the singing voice is better in Activity Centre :P

Other things huh? Okay, here are 10(highly) random tidbits, that will astound and confuse (most likely just confuse):

1. Rayman crossing a sea of tomato sauce
2. Lets all break into the bank!
3. This thing also doubles up as a print studio
4. Watch out for the red bike!
5. I sometimes doubt Rayman's singing and lyric-ing skills
6.Talking fish are creepy
7.Half the time prize games don't even work :pascontent:
8. Rayman needs glasses
9. If I get this working, I can finally show off the corrupted activity!
10. Rayman 1 Rayman vs Rayman 1.5 Rayman: The Fight of the Century

....I'm interested to hear Rayman's singing voice, and why anyone would be breaking in to a bank. (I think I know which activity that one is, I saw it in the demo/trailer video)

And the tomato sauce sea really raises a lot of questions... Are you SURE it was tomato sauce...? :fou:

A Rayman should satisfy his woman every day of the month.

Me neither, but still... I think there might be some deep, sinister secret behind Betilla's magic baguette.
One does not simply possess a magic baguette without a reason.

I believe the Rayman is provided when the candle is lit. You must Provide with the sandwich if you do the magic trick. At childs party.
And thank you for your beautiful, beautiful post! (P.S. This guy clearly isn't a bot but a guy pretending to be one :P)

Anyway, now that this thread has turned into a delightful and delicious discussion about giant pasta and magic baguettes, I think its time I give an update on how things are going (regarding setting this game up for you-tube playthroughs). We're beginning to suspect that the problem, apart from the fact that the game doesn't work in XP, is actually the CD drive on 7 machine with the emulator on it. It has admittedly been behaving and bit strangely, running some CDs/DVDs fine but with strange noises, and in the case of the Rayman game, not installing properly. As the BIN dump made was made with a wonky running version of the CD, it resulted in a bad dump that also doesn't. Of course, this is just a theory, but it does explain a few things if it is the case. What would be the next stage would be to test the theory by plugging in the USB CD drive into the machine and running it in an emulator through that instead, but unfortunately it's mysteriously gone missing. So the only thing I can do now is either hunt the house down looking for it, or think of something else. If only capture cards weren't so expensive - that way I could record it of the old Packard Bell I've been using to play, ah well.

Wish me luck in whatever happens next

I think I need to record the instrumental soundtrack when I get the game elsewhere, too!

USB CD drive? Never heard of one of those before. Well, as tricky as technology can be, I'm sure you'll find a way around the problems. :D

Maybe it's on top of the fridge? I know there are a lot of strange and random things on top of my refrigerator. :)

Well, anyways, I wish you luck with finding that mystical USB CD drive, I wouldn't have a clue where it is. 0_o

Oh, for a moment there I thought you could telepathically communicate with CD drives. That's a shame :fou:

Hello,

Im a french guy and i own almost all rayman educative games (including your accompagnement, rayman anglais (english), rayman junior, rayman brain games, etc.).

For all of them, you ll need windows 95/98. My solution is to install vmware and use windows 98 SE emulation.

If you need a translator, im here. :P

Thanks for the information - I think this further proves the theory that it is a dodgy CD drive stopping emulated operating system's from working, not anything else :)

Oooh, could you please translate the English with Rayman intro for us? We've been dying to find out just what the Magician is saying. XD

Thanks for the help RayMaster! I don't know why, with all the French-English multilingualism here, nobody's done this yet.
