It's not exactly "recent", but I'm going to see the Lorax in 3D this sunday. :mryellow:

I think it is a pretty song, and it can give a good impact if you join up some images of nature events.

I just watched both the aniamted versions. One was stupid because it had talking animals, plus it was stupid, and the other version was just ridiculously offensive to the point where you don't even feel clean after watching it. It also has talking animals by the way.

Apparently what REALLY happened that day was that an alliance between the evil gang of sharks and Elizabeth's evil fiance were trying to form a plan to allow them whaling rights. However, in order to do so they needed to sink the ship. Meanwhile, Eli is sad because she has to marry him, and she cries on the edge of the boat. Her tears hit a dolphin's nose and it begins to talk, because apparently "her teardrop clashed with a special magic moonbeam" (or as I like to say, "boonmeme"), giving her this power. The sharks then say there's a glacier throwing contest, and gives a giant kiddish octopus named Tentacles with a dog nose a glacier to throw, and he hits the ship. Him being a giant kid was unaware this happened until the dolphins told him, and then he's all sad. Also, a mouse sacrificed his life to save something that I don't remember. Then, Tentacles somehow tries to put the ship back together, but fails and is crushed, while everyone survives:

One thing that really pissed me off was the fact that the first thing the PDA said when the ship started to go down is "THERE'S ROOM FOR EVERYONE!" Uh, no, in the real story, there wasn't.

Somehow though, both the mice and Tentacles are magically alive again, and Tenty is given an award, and the two lovers (as well as the two lover-mice) get wed.

I was like... DAFUQ? This can't actually be real! It's so incredibly fucking stupid, it has this weird focus on whale rights, and it's just plain offensive to the hundreds of people that lost their lives. I can't imagine how the actual survivors must have felt when they heard about or watched this. it's just preposterous.

One more problem with this movie is that it never shuts the fuck up, and there's so much useless dialogue. The two lovers only share ONE LINE of dialogue before falling in love. And no, no one gets asked to be drawn like one of somebody's French girls.

Was this with the rapping dog? I saw parts of it on cracked. Then number of times that guy's animation was repeated was sad.

I saw a documentary on the titanic that used the animations of the original film. They looked back at what was incorrect about the film and redid the entire sinking sequence more accurately. It was very interesting to watch.

No actually, that was the less offensive cartoon. Hard to believe, huh?

I've actually seen that as well, but even the documentary has a few flaws. It was for the most part accurate, but there were still false facts stated here and there.

I liked it, but seriously, I don't get the hype. It's just a fucking quirky movie, I don't see what there is in it to cling to.

Quite hypocrite coming from the one who would give her organs just to meet Bellamy. Not everyone has tastes as terrible as yours, so let them enjoy truly great movies/games like Scott Pilgrim or Portal, and go play Crysis or listen to Muse, since that kind of shitty stuff is what you actually like.

Seriously, stop trolling, Rayfan.

I love you so much.

Not to crash a joke here or anything, but I don't recall mentioning Crysis more than once or twice in the last year, and, once again, I rarely mention Muse. Having a signature does not justify any sort of fabrication you've come up with like the one quoted. When many members said that "they don't understand what's so great about Muse," I respected that, because it wasn't to their taste, but I also would add in why I liked them. Here when I say I didn't understand what was so great about Scott Pilgrim, I'm being called a hypocrite. Yes, I like things that most others don't, but I'm freely open to discuss why, not to go around calling names.

You legally changed your name to ‘Bellamy’. Yes, that’s totally normal and common behaviour. Not creepy or obsessive at all.

I tried to watch Mad Max yesterday then realized it was a piece of shit. I recommend avoiding it at all cost.

Even though my middle name was Bellamy beforehand? I only changed my first name.

Sorry, but while that was a very good movie, it was riddled with false facts and does not at all depict what really happened during Mozart's life. I wouldn't complain about this so much if they had actually said that countless modifications were involved, but they made it sound like what was in the movie is exactly what happened.

Oh gosh, I remember to watch Amadeus in a Musical Education class... when I was in 6th grade.
