In conclusion, Rayman certainly meant it when he said he liked music and partying!

I understand the purpose of a direct translation, but can we please reword it so it sounds better in English? I'll do that tomorrow if you're fond of the idea.

Mmm, it could be an idea, although personally I think it makes perfect sense as it is. As I've written it on the annotations, it has already been slightly altered from the original direct translation I received to make more sense, so I've already altered it once! Although, considering I wrote the annotations early in the morning (literally at about half one or something :P), I probably made a few typos and errors, so I could go and tidy that up.
If it is altered any further, I probably won't adjust the annotations because the text might not fit anymore and I don't see the point - but it could be useful for Raywiki or other purposes if it is possible to improve it any more.

As for the Basketball song, my exams are over now, so I should be able to upload it within the next few days. Unfortunately, I can't do it right now, because the computer with my Rayman CP files on is in use, but expect me to be more active from here on in! (until I have to get back to work in June that is :P)

Lets take the very first sentence: "One day, when Betilla the Fairy and I were taking advantage of these delights..."

Do you see what I mean? I suggest something like "One day, when Betilla the Fairy and I were making the most of our day..."

Oh, whoops - I forgot about that! Yeah, that doesn't really make much sense as it is...

Thats awensome! Thanks Electoon! :D

Rayman showed his basketball side only in this game and R2/Revolution. I hope he will show it again in future Rayman games (like Legends).

You have some pretty idiosyncratic desires for the future of the Rayman series.

Don't forget that Carmen will obviously be the main character in Rayman Tennis.

Whatever. Make fun of me if you like it so much. I just love basketball and i just thought it could actually fit in Raymans world at least better than other real life sports.

Thanks, I do. :)

I honestly think Soccer would be the most fitting out of anything, considering we've seen both the rabbids and Rayman mock it before.

Sorry, I just have to ask: what the fuck is up with Rayman's right hand? :P

Once again, the drawing is very cool, Electoon! Congratulations!

If you want to understand this song, here's a translation: (I haven't translated word to word, because it would be incomprehensible, but the meaning is the same)

To play basketball, you must be very tall...
But it's better to be a giant,
To score points without get tired!

I can continue to translate the songs that are posted on this topic, if it's useful to you, and if the translations are decent.

"Derp"? I don't know this world. It is like strabismus?

Makes perfect sense. But kinda funny because Rayman is pretty short. In comparison to the average human, anyway. XD

'Derp' is a term used for something... Kinda unintelligent-looking, I suppose. Usually the term is used when someone's eyes are facing in two different directions. :fou2:
